സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ 140 നിയമസഭ അംഗങ്ങളില്‍ 87 ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസ് പ്രതികള്‍. ഇതു പോരാത്തതിന് 61 കോടീശ്വരന്മാരും കേരള നിയമസഭയിലുണ്ട്.
ഇത് ഉത്തരേന്ത്യന്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലേയൊ, അയല്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെയോ കണക്കല്ല. നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്തം കേരളത്തിലേതാണ്. 87ല്‍ 27 എംഎല്‍എമാര്‍ക്കെതിരെ ഗുരുതര ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകളാണു റജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. 59 സിപിഎം എംഎല്‍എമാരില്‍ 53 പേരും ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകള്‍ നേരിടുന്നുണ്ട്. കൊലപാതക, കൊലപാതകശ്രമ കേസുകളില്‍ ഏഴ് എംഎല്‍എമാര്‍ പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതെല്ലാം സിപിഎം എംഎല്‍എമാരാണ്. 19 എംഎല്‍എമാരുള്ള സിപിഐയുടെ 12 പേര്‍ക്കെതിരെയാണ് ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകള്‍ ഉള്ളത്. 22 എംഎല്‍എമാരുള്ള കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിന്റെ ഒന്‍പതു പേരും 18 എംഎല്‍എമാരുള്ള മുസ്‌ലിം ലീഗിന്റെ നാലുപേരും ആറു സ്വതന്ത്ര എംഎല്‍എമാരില്‍ നാലു പേരും ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകളില്‍പ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
കഴിഞ്ഞ നിയമസഭയെക്കാള്‍ ഈ സഭയിലാണു ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകളില്‍പെട്ടവര്‍ കൂടുതല്‍.

രാജ്യത്തെ 11 സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിമാര്‍ ക്രിമിനല്‍ക്കേസുകളിലെ പ്രതികളാണെന്ന് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്.അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക് റൈറ്റ്‌സ് നടത്തിയ പഠനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ദേവേന്ദ്ര ഫഡ്‌നാവിസിനെതിരെയാണ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ കേസുള്ളത്.22 ക്രിമിനല്‍കേസുകള്‍.തൊട്ടു പിന്നില്‍ കേരളമുഖ്യന്‍ പിണറായി വിജയനാണ് 11 കേസുകളാണ് പിണറായിയുടെ പേരിലുള്ളത്.ഇവര്‍ക്കു പിന്നില്‍ 10 കേസുകളുമായി ഡല്‍ഹി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി അരവിന്ദ് കേജ്രിവാളുണ്ട്

“iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal,” Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said.
The overwhelming demand exceeded the initial supply, according to Apple, leading many of the orders toward October delivery.

കോടതിയുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തന ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ ലീവെടുക്കരുത്. പ്രവര്‍ത്തന സമയങ്ങളിൽ കോടതിമുറികളില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം. ജോലികള്‍ കൃത്യമായി ചെയ്യുന്നതില്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കണം, ജുഡീഷ്യറിയെ അഴിമതിയില്‍ നിന്ന് മുക്തമാക്കണം. ഇതൊക്കെയാണ് രഞ്ജന്‍ ഗൊഗൊയുടെ നിര്‍ദേശങ്ങള്‍ .കേസുകള്‍ മുടങ്ങി കിടക്കുന്നത് നിയമ സംവിധാനത്തിന് അപകീര്‍ത്തി വരുത്തുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ജഡ്ജിമാരെ ഓര്‍മിപ്പിച്ചു.ദേശീയ ജുഡീഷ്യല്‍ ഡാറ്റ പ്രകാരം രാജ്യത്തെ ഹൈക്കോടതികളില്‍ 43 ലക്ഷത്തോളം കേസുകള്‍ കെട്ടികിടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സുപ്രീംകോടതിയില്‍ 55,946 കേസുകളാണ് കെട്ടികിടക്കുന്നതെന്നും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നു. കോടതിയുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ പത്തോളം മാര്‍ഗനിര്‍ദേശങ്ങളുമായാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ജഡ്ജിമാരുമായി ചര്‍ച്ചനടത്തിയത്. ജുഡീഷ്യറിയിലെ അഴിമതിയെ ചര്‍ച്ചയ്ക്കിടെ ഗൊഗൊയ് രൂക്ഷമായി വിമര്‍ശിച്ചു. ജോലി ചെയ്യാന്‍ മടിക്കാണിക്കുന്ന ജഡ്ജിമാരെ പിന്‍വലിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചു. അഭിഭാഷകരെ പോലെ മികച്ച വേതനം ജഡ്ജിമാര്‍ക്കും വേണം. അല്ലങ്കില്‍ പ്രലോഭനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കീഴ്‌പ്പെട്ടേക്കാം. ജുഡീഷ്യയറിയില്‍ ഒഴിവുള്ള തസ്തികകളില്‍ നിയമനം നടത്തണം. അല്ലങ്കില്‍ അത് സംവിധാനത്തെ ബാധിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

ഇത് ഉത്തരേന്ത്യന്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലേയൊ, അയല്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെയോ കണക്കല്ല. നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്തം കേരളത്തിലേതാണ്. 87ല്‍ 27 എംഎല്‍എമാര്‍ക്കെതിരെ ഗുരുതര ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകളാണു റജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. 59 സിപിഎം എംഎല്‍എമാരില്‍ 53 പേരും ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകള്‍ നേരിടുന്നുണ്ട്. കൊലപാതക, കൊലപാതകശ്രമ കേസുകളില്‍ ഏഴ് എംഎല്‍എമാര്‍ പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതെല്ലാം സിപിഎം എംഎല്‍എമാരാണ്. 19 എംഎല്‍എമാരുള്ള സിപിഐയുടെ 12 പേര്‍ക്കെതിരെയാണ് ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകള്‍ ഉള്ളത്. 22 എംഎല്‍എമാരുള്ള കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിന്റെ ഒന്‍പതു പേരും 18 എംഎല്‍എമാരുള്ള മുസ്‌ലിം ലീഗിന്റെ നാലുപേരും ആറു സ്വതന്ത്ര എംഎല്‍എമാരില്‍ നാലു പേരും ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകളില്‍പ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
കഴിഞ്ഞ നിയമസഭയെക്കാള്‍ ഈ സഭയിലാണു ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസുകളില്‍പെട്ടവര്‍ കൂടുതല്‍.

That means the total revenue from the iPhone 5 cases could reach $783 million, says Mashable.
With its pre-order starting on Sept. 14, the iPhone 5 has already broken record with over 2 million smartphones ordered in the first 24 hours.
“iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal,” Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said.
The overwhelming demand exceeded the initial supply, according to Apple, leading many of the orders toward October delivery.

22 Covid & non-Covid patients allegedly died following a 'mock oxygen drill' in UP. A viral video purportedly of a hospital owner in Agra has sparked a major controversy. In the video, the man is heard saying that he got oxygen supply from patients snapped for 5 mins. The man, in the video, added that this was part of an experiment to know who all will survive. Reports suggest the video is purportedly of Arinjay Jain, owner of Paras Hospital on NH 2. UP health dept has ordered a probe into the incident after the video went viral.
