    Coronavirus in India: 2301 confirmed cases so far; 647 linked to Tablighi Jamaat, says govt

    As many as 647 COVID-19 positive cases found in 14 states in the last two days are linked to the Tablighi Jamaat congregation, the Union health ministry said on Friday. Out of the 12 deaths reported in the last 24 hours some are related to the Tablighi Jamaat congregation, Joint Secretary in the Health Ministry Lav Agarwal said in a daily media briefing. So far there have been 2,301 cases of COVID-19 in India and 56 deaths out of which 12 were reported since Thursday, he said, adding there has been a rise of 336 coronavirus cases since Thursday.

    Total coronavirus cases tally jumps to 384 in Delhi; 259 related to Markaz: CM Kejriwal

    Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that a total of 384 cases have been found so far, following a rise of 91 cases in the last 24 hours in the city. He also said that five people have died in the national capital due to coronavirus and one of them was a person who attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin. "A total of 384 coronavirus positive cases have been found in Delhi till now. There has been a rise of 91 cases in the last 24 hours," Kejriwal said at a digital press conference. "Out of these 384 cases, 58 patients have a history of foreign travel. 259 people, out of them, had attended Markaz event," he said.

    Coronavirus in India: 2301 confirmed cases so far; 647 linked to Tablighi Jamaat, says govt

    As many as 647 COVID-19 positive cases found in 14 states in the last two days are linked to the Tablighi Jamaat congregation, the Union health ministry said on Friday. Out of the 12 deaths reported in the last 24 hours some are related to the Tablighi Jamaat congregation, Joint Secretary in the Health Ministry Lav Agarwal said in a daily media briefing. So far there have been 2,301 cases of COVID-19 in India and 56 deaths out of which 12 were reported since Thursday, he said, adding there has been a rise of 336 coronavirus cases since Thursday.

    Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that a total of 384 cases have been found so far, following a rise of 91 cases in the last 24 hours in the city. He also said that five people have died in the national capital due to coronavirus and one of them was a person who attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin. "A total of 384 coronavirus positive cases have been found in Delhi till now. There has been a rise of 91 cases in the last 24 hours," Kejriwal said at a digital press conference. "Out of these 384 cases, 58 patients have a history of foreign travel. 259 people, out of them, had attended Markaz event," he said.
