Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.

भारत चीन सीमा पर दोनों देशों के लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है। बीते सोमवार को भारतीय सेना ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि चीन के कुछ सैनिकों ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश के तवांग सेक्टर में भारतीय सीमा में घुसने की कोशिश की। इस घुसपैठ को रोकने के लिए भारतीय सेना के जवानों ने उनसे हाथापाई की। इस झड़प में दोनों तरफ के कुछ सैनिक घायल हुए। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने भी मंगलवार को संसद में बताया कि भारतीय सेना ने बहादुरी से चीनी सेना को हमारे क्षेत्र में अतिक्रमण करने से रोका और उन्हें उनकी पोस्ट पर वापस जाने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया था। बता दें कि तवांग से पहले लद्दाख में गलवान घाटी में भारतीय और चीनी सैनिकों में हिंसक झड़प हुई थी। उस झड़प में भारतीय सेना के 20 जवान शहीद हो गए थे। चीन ने 6 महीने बाद इस झड़प में चार जवानों के मारे जाने की बात कबूल की थी।

16 persons, all construction labourers, were killed when a landslide buried them alive in Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. Landslides were triggered by heavy rains that have been lashing the state for the past one week.

At least 16 persons were killed when a massive landslide triggered by incessant rains hit a labour camp in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday (April 22). The incident occurred at 3 AM when 19 labourers engaged in construction works were inside the camp at Phamla village, 6 km away from Tawang town, SP Anto Alphonse said. "Altogether 16 bodies have been extricated from the debris, while one seriously injured has been shifted to Tezpur in neighbouring Assam," the SP said, adding two labourers were safe. He said incessant rains for the past couple of days had triggered landslides in several places of the border district. All the bodies were recovered in the joint operation carried out by the Army, civil administration, police and villagers, he said. The PWD road between New Lebrang and government higher secondary school is also blocked due to landslide, while damage to residential buildings has been reported from the area. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of lives. In a message, the Prime Minister extended his condolences to the bereaved families.
