അനിഷ്ട സംഭവങ്ങൾ ആവർത്തിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ വലിയ നടപ്പന്തലും താഴെതിരുമുറ്റവും നിയന്ത്രണത്തിലാക്കി പോലീസ്. ദർശനത്തിന് എത്തുന്നവരെ പോലീസ് ഇവിടെ വിശ്രമിക്കാൻ അനുവദിക്കുന്നില്ല.രണ്ടിടത്തും കനത്ത കാവലാണ് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. ഇതുമൂലം ഞായറാഴ്ച ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് നടയടച്ച സമയം വലിയ നടപ്പന്തൽ വിജനമായിരുന്നു. തീർഥാടകരെ നടപ്പന്തലിന്റെ പ്രവേശന കവാടത്തിൽത്തന്നെ പോലീസ് തടഞ്ഞു. നടതുറക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പാണ് ഇവരെ നടപ്പന്തലിലേക്ക് കയറ്റിവിട്ടത്.
പ്രതിഷേധത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി നേരത്തേ നാമജപം നടന്ന താഴെതിരുമുറ്റത്ത് ആരെയും തങ്ങാൻ അനുവദിക്കുന്നില്ല.
ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് നട തുറക്കുന്നത് വരെയുള്ള രണ്ടുമണിക്കൂർ ഇവിടെ വിജനമായിരുന്നു. ശബരിമലയിലെ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ഈ രണ്ടു സ്ഥലങ്ങളെയും പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരിൽനിന്ന് സംരക്ഷിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് പോലീസിന്റെ തന്ത്രം. നിയന്ത്രണം നീക്കണമെന്ന് ദേവസ്വംബോർഡ് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും വലിയ നടപ്പന്തലിലും താഴെ തിരുമുറ്റത്തും ഒരു വിട്ടുവീഴ്ചയ്ക്കും പോലീസ് തയ്യാറാവുന്നില്ല.
പമ്പമുതൽ പോലീസിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണമുണ്ടെങ്കിലും മരക്കൂട്ടത്തുനിന്നാണ് നിയന്ത്രണം കൃത്യമായി നടപ്പാക്കുന്നത്. ഇവിടെനിന്ന് സന്നിധാനത്തേക്ക് നിശ്ചിതയെണ്ണം തീർഥാടകരെമാത്രമേ കയറ്റിവിടുന്നുള്ളൂ. സുരക്ഷാ വീഴ്ച ഉണ്ടാവാതിരിക്കാൻ പോലീസിന് കർശന നിർദേശമാണ് നൽകിയിട്ടുള്ളത്.

മണ്ഡലകാലത്ത് ശബരിമലയില് നിയന്ത്രണം ലംഘിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കെതിരെ അറസ്റ്റുകള് തുടരുമെന്ന് പോലീസ്. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തില് കോടതിയെ സമീപിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങുകയാണ് ബിജെപി. ചിത്തിര ആട്ടപൂജ സമയത്ത് സന്നിധാനത്തുണ്ടായ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില് കൂടുതല് സംഘര്ഷങ്ങള് ഒഴിവാക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് ബിജെപി നേതാക്കളെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചയ്യുന്നതെന്ന് പോലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. മുന്പുണ്ടായ അക്രമ സംഭവങ്ങളില് ഇവരുടെ പങ്ക് വ്യക്തമായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞതായും പോലീസ് പറയുന്നു. അതേസമയം, ശബരിമലയിലെ പോലീസ് നിയന്ത്രണം പിന്വലിക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് ശബരിമല കര്മസമിതി ഗവര്ണറെ കാണും. അതേസമയം പോലീസ് നടപടിയില് അയവുവരാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തില് പോലീസ് നിയന്ത്രണം പിന്വലിക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ടാണ് കോടതിയെ സമീപിക്കുകയെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്ട്ട്. ശബരിമലയിലെ പോലീസ് നിയന്ത്രണം പിന്വലിക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് ശബരിമല കര്മസമിതി ഗവര്ണറെ കാണും. ഗവര്ണറുമായുള്ള കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് അനുമതി തേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.. അനുമതി ലഭിച്ചാല് ഇന്നു വൈകിട്ട് കോട്ടയം ഗസ്റ്റ്ഹൗസില് വെച്ച് കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടക്കുമെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്ട്ട്.

ശബരിമല കേസിലെ റിട്ട് ഹർജികളും പുനഃപരിശോധനാ (റിവ്യൂ) ഹർജികൾ വൈകുന്നേരം സുപ്രീം കോടതി പരിഗണിക്കും . എന്താണ് ഇവ തമ്മിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസം എന്താണ്?ഭരണഘടനാബെഞ്ച് പറഞ്ഞ വിധിക്കെതിരെ റിട്ട് ഹർജി സാധ്യമല്ല. എന്നാൽ, വിധിയെ നേരിട്ടു ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യാതെ, അതു നടപ്പാക്കിയാൽ ഉണ്ടാകാവുന്ന പ്രശ്നങ്ങളാണ് 3 റിട്ട് ഹർജികളിൽ ഉന്നയിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് . 3 പ്രധാന ആവശ്യങ്ങളാണ് ഇവയിലുള്ളത്: 1) ആരാധനാ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടണം, 2) ഭരണഘടനാബെഞ്ചിന്റെ വിധി, പ്രഖ്യാപന സ്വഭാവത്തിൽ മാത്രമുള്ളതാണ് എന്നു വിശദീകരിക്കണം, 3) ആചാരങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള നിർദേശങ്ങൾ നൽകണം.
ഭരണഘടനാബെഞ്ച് സെപ്റ്റംബർ 28ന് നൽകിയ വിധിയുടെ തിരുത്താണ് പുനഃപരിശോധനാ ഹർജികളിലെ ആവശ്യം.
3 സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിലാണ് റിവ്യൂ അനുവദിച്ച് കേസ് വീണ്ടും വാദത്തിന് പരിഗണിക്കുന്നത്. 1) ഹർജിക്കാർക്ക് അറിയില്ലാതിരുന്നതോ ലഭ്യമാക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാതിരുന്നതോ ആയ പുതിയ തെളിവു ലഭിക്കുമ്പോൾ, 2) വിധിയിൽ വ്യക്തമായ തെറ്റോ പിഴവോ ഉണ്ടെന്നു വ്യക്തമാകുമ്പോൾ, 3) അല്ലെങ്കില് മതിയായ മറ്റേതെങ്കിലും കാരണം.
. റിട്ട് ഹർജികൾ വിശദവാദത്തിനു പരിഗണിക്കാൻ മൂന്നംഗ ബെഞ്ച് തീരുമാനിച്ചാൽതന്നെയും, ആ ഹർജികളുടെ ഭാവി പുനഃപരിശോധനാ ഹർജികളുടെ ഫലത്തെ ആശ്രയിച്ചിരിക്കും. റിവ്യൂ ഹര്ജികള് മൂന്ന് മണിക്ക് പരിഗണിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതില് കോടതി വാദം കേള്ക്കാന് തീരുമാനിച്ചാല് റിട്ട് ഹര്ജികള് കൂടി ഇതിനോടൊപ്പം പരിഗണിക്കും

ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷന് ശ്രീധരന് പിള്ള ഭക്തരെന്ന വ്യാജേന നിലയ്കലിലെക്ക് പോകാന് പാര്ട്ടി പ്രവര്ത്തകര്ക്ക് നല്കുന്ന ശബ്ദ സന്ദേശം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന് പുറത്തു വിട്ടു .നിലയ്ക്കലില് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ലംഘിക്കാന് പാര്ട്ടിപ്രവര്ത്തകരോട് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്ത ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷന് പിഎസ്ശ്രീധരന് പിള്ളയ്ക്ക് മറുപടിയുമായി ദേവസ്വം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്. ശ്രീധരന്പിള്ളയുടെ ആഹ്വാനം കലാപം സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനുള്ള നീക്കത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണോ എന്നാണ് മന്ത്രി ചോദിച്ചത്. ശ്രീധരന്പിള്ള വ്യാജപ്രചരണം നടത്തുകയാണെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.അല്ലയോ ശ്രീധരന്പിള്ളേ, എന്താണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ പരിപാടി എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന് പിഎസ്ശ്രീധരന് പിള്ളയെ വിമര്ശിക്കാന് ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ഭക്തരെന്ന വ്യാജേന ഇരുമുടിക്കെട്ടിന് സമാനമായ സഞ്ചിയേന്തി മാലയുമിട്ട് രണ്ട് പേര് വീതമായി വേണം നിലയ്ക്കലിലേക്ക് പോകാനെന്ന് പാർട്ടി പ്രവര്ത്തകര്ക്കു നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദസന്ദേശം പരസ്യപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു മന്ത്രി മാധ്യമങ്ങള്ക്ക് മുമ്പില് പ്രതികരിച്ചത്.
നിലയ്ക്കലില് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം സംഘര്ഷമുണ്ടാക്കിയതും മാധ്യമപ്രവര്ത്തകരെ ആക്രമിച്ചതും ബിജെപി ആര്എസ്എസ് പ്രവര്ത്തകര് അല്ലെന്ന് ശ്രീധരന് പിള്ള പറഞ്ഞു. അത്തരം അക്രമകാരികളെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചാണ് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അത് ഭക്തരെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചല്ല’ മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

Sabarimala is an ancient temple. It was mostly unreachable for about three centuries after its installation. In the 12th century, a prince of Pandalam Dynasty, Manikandan, rediscovered the original path to reach Sabarimala. He had many followers with him, including the descendants of the Vavar (a Muslim warrior whom Manikandan defeated) family. This Prince is considered an Avatar of Ayyappa. It is believed that he meditated at Sabarimala temple and became one with the divine.

The Supreme Court Tuesday agreed to hear on January 22 in open court the pleas seeking review of its verdict which allowed entry of women of all age groups into Kerala's Sabarimala temple, but refused to stay the judgement. On September 28, a five-judge Constitution bench, headed by the then Chief Justice Dipak Misra, in 4:1 verdict had paved the way for entry of women of all ages into the Sabarimala temple saying the ban amounted to gender discrimination. The review petitions against the verdict were taken up 'in-chamber' by a bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justices RF Nariman, AM Khanwilkar, DY Chandrachud and Indu Malhotra.
