Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.

As already reported , the SC has refused to urgently list the Karnataka plea. PTI reports that a bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said, "Impossible. We have never done this before. Tomorrow we may see to it." The bench's remarks came when senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for the two legislators -- R Shankar and H Nagesh, said he has filed a new petition in the Karnataka matter and seeks its urgent listing. Rohatgi said the floor test is being delayed on one pretext or the other. He said when the Congress-JD(S) coalition can take orders for holding of floor test earlier, then same order can be issued now. To this the bench said, "We will see tomorrow.

The Supreme Court has passed an interim order. But Karnataka crisis is not over yet. The HD Kumaraswamy government is still not safe as the appellants - the rebel Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) MLAs - have got respite from the Supreme Court, which said they cannot be compelled to attend Karnataka assembly during the trust vote.The Kumaraswamy government has to seek a fresh trust from the Karnataka assembly on Thursday. The equation is stacked against the Congress-JD (S) coalition. If the rebel MLAs -- 16 from the Congress and JD (S) plus two Independents -- don't attend the trust vote, the strength of the House will be reduced to 207 including Speaker Ramesh Kumar. #KarnatakaPoliticalCrisis #KarnatakaTrustVote #Karnataka

The Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that 15 Congress MLAs, who have tendered their resignations, cannot be compelled to participate in the proceedings of the House. "In view of Trust Vote kept for tomorrow, SC has said two important things- 15 MLAs will not be compelled to attend the House tomorrow. All 15 MLAs are given the liberty that may or may not go to the House tomorrow", says Mukul Rohatgi, representing Karnataka rebel MLAs in SC.
