देश व प्रदेश में बढ़ती जा रही महंगाई और बेरोजगारी आदि समस्याओं को लेकर आज बिलासपुर कांग्रेस कमेटी ने शहीद स्मारक के पास धरना प्रदर्शन किया। अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी एवं प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के दिशानिर्देशों के अनुसार जिला कांग्रेस कमेटी ने बीजेपी सरकार की जन विरोधी नीतियों, किसानों की प्रताड़ना, बढ़ती मंहगाई, पेट्रोल-डीजल रसोई गैस सिलेंडर के आसमान छूते हुए दाम, बेतहाशा बेरोजगारी आदि को लेकर सरकार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की। इस दौरान कांग्रेस कमेटी के सदस्यों ने डीसी के माध्यम से राज्यपाल को ज्ञापन भेजा। अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी सदस्य तथा नैणा देवी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विधायक रामलाल ठाकुर ने कहा कि मनमोहन सरकार के समय में इतनी महंगाई नहीं थी। अगर 60 वर्षों की बात की जाए तो कांग्रेस के समय में इतनी महंगाई नहीं बढ़ी थी जितनी बीजेपी सरकार के 7 वर्षों के कार्यकाल में बढ़ी है। उन्होंने कुल्लू में पुलिस अधीक्षक ओर सीएम के सुरक्षा कर्मचारी के बीच हुए थप्पड़ प्रकरण की भी निंदा की। उन्होंने कहा कि जो अधिकारी जनता की सेवा के लिए लगाए गए हैं वो ही अगर ऐसा करेंगे तो जनता कहां से सुरक्षित होगी। जिला बिलासपुर कांग्रेस पार्टी प्रभारी इंद्र दत्त लखनपाल ने कहा कि महंगाई दिन-प्रतिदिन बढ़ती जा रही है

गोरखपुर।कालीशंकर ने कहा कि आज दुर्भाग्य है जहां एक तरफ सरकार चौरी चौरा जन विद्रोह का शताब्दी वर्ष मना रही है और वहीं दूसरी तरफ शहीदों के परिवार को अपनी उपेक्षा के विरोध में धरने पर बैठना पड़ा है.
काली शंकर ने बताया कि मरम्मत के दौरान चौरी चौरा शहीद स्मारक पर शहीदों का नाम व वल्दियत पूर्व की भांति न लिखकर दोषपूर्ण व अपूर्ण लिखा गया है. सरकारी दस्तावेजों व प्रमाणिक अभिलेखों के अनुसार शहीदों का नाम व उनकी वल्दियत न लिखकर मनमाने ढंग से अंकित कर दिया गया है. शिलालेखों में चौरी चौरा जन विद्रोह से संबंधित ऐतिहासिक तथ्यों को गलत ढंग से दर्शाया गया है. स्मारक पर सफेद संगमरमर के पत्थरों को मरम्मत के दौरान लाल पत्थरों से बदल दिया गया है जो कहीं ना कहीं स्मारक के मूल स्वरूप व वास्तविकता के साथ गंभीर छेड़छाड़ व खिलवाड़ है.
कालीशंकर और शहीद परिवार के लोगों ने उप जिला अधिकारी चौरी चौरा अनुपम मिश्र को चौरी चौरा जन विद्रोह के शहीदों के सम्मान में ज्ञापन देकर कर निम्नलिखित मांगे को तत्काल पूरा करने की मांग किया हैं:-
1-तत्काल ही एक जांच कमेटी गठित कर जांच की जाए कि शहीदों के नाम व उनकी वल्दियत के साथ किसके आदेश पर और क्यों दोषपूर्ण व अपूर्ण लिखा गया है. अतिशीघ्र ही शहीदों के नामों को व उनके वल्दियत को सही व पूर्ण रूप से लिखा जाए.
2- शहीद स्मारक पर सफेद संगमरमर के पत्थरों की जगह लाल पत्थर लगाकर मूल स्वरूप के साथ किसके आदेश पर और क्यों छेड़छड़ किया गया. जल्द से जल्द लाल पत्थर की जगह सफेद पत्थर पूर्व की भांति लगाकर मूल स्वरूप के रूप को दर्शाया जाए.
3- स्मारक के अंदर शिलालेखों पर ऐतिहासिक तथ्यों में वास्तविक घटनाक्रम को गलत ढंग से मनमाना पूर्ण लिखा गया है जांच कराकर सही किया जाए.
4- चौरी चौरा जन विद्रोह के अहम किरदार कोमल पहलवान (सहुआकोल) का कहीं भी शहीद स्मारक पर कोई उल्लेख नहीं है जबकि विभिन्न प्रमुख इतिहासकारों द्वारा विभिन्न प्रमाणित लेखो व किताबों में इनका चौरी चौरा जन विद्रोह में विशेष उल्लेख किया गया है. इनके नाम को भी अंकित किया जाए वह इनके योगदान को शिलालेखों में दर्शाया जाए.
