औरंगाबाद, दि. 29 (जिमाका) : जिल्ह्यात पाच हजारांच्या जवळपास एचआयव्हीग्रस्त आहेत. त्यांचे वयोगटनिहाय सर्वंकष सर्वेक्षण करण्याच्या सूचना जिल्हाधिकारी सुनील चव्हाण यांनी आज अधिकाऱ्यांना केल्या. बाधितांसह त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांना मदत करण्याचे आवाहनही त्यांनी यावेळी केले.
जिल्हा एड्स प्रतिबंधक व नियंत्रण समिती व एचआयव्ही, टीबी समन्वय समितीची त्रैमासिक बैठक श्री. चव्हाण यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली पार पडली. या बैठकीस जिल्हा सामान्य रूग्णालयाचे वैद्यकीय अधिकारी डॉ. प्रदीप कुलकर्णी, सहायक पोलिस आयुक्त बालाजी सोनटक्के, एड्स नियंत्रण प्रकल्पाचे कार्यक्रम अधिकारी संजय पवार, घाटीचे वरिष्ठ वैद्यकीय अधिकारी डॉ. मधुकर साळवे, विविध स्वयंसेवी संस्थांचे प्रतिनिधी उपस्थित होते.
जिल्हाधिकारी चव्हाण म्हणाले, जिल्ह्यातील त्वचा व गुप्त रोग तज्ज्ञांशी एचआयव्हीसह लैंगिक संक्रमित रोगाच्या नियंत्रणावर चर्चा करा. त्यांच्याकडील अशा रुग्णांच्या केसपेपरची तपासणी करत सर्वेक्षण करा. बाधितांवर अवलंबून असलेल्या नातेवाईक, अपत्यांचाही समावेश रहावा. संबंधित शासकीय, खासगी डॉक्टरांनी यासाठी समितीतील अधिकाऱ्यांना सहकार्य करावे. रोगावर नियंत्रणासाठी आवश्यक ते सर्व मार्गदर्शन करावे. प्रकल्पांतर्गत सर्वेक्षण मोहीम राबवताना बाधितांची इत्यंभूत माहिती जमा करावी. संकलित माहितीच्या आधारावर बाधितांच्या पुनर्वसनाबाबत कृती आराखडाही तयार करावा. शासनाकडून देण्यात येणाऱ्या सर्व सुविधा तत्काळ बाधित व त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांना उपलब्ध करून द्याव्यात. यामध्ये प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना, एसटी प्रवास सवलत, संजय गांधी निराधार योजनेत उत्पन्न मर्यादेची अट शिथिल करणे आदींचा अंतर्भाव असावा, असे श्री. चव्हाण म्हणाले. डॉ. सावळे यांनी बाधितांना एसटी सवलतीचा लाभ देण्याबाबतचा मुद्दा उपस्थित केल्यानंतर त्यावर तत्काळ कार्यवाही करण्याची ग्वाही श्री. चव्हाण यांनी दिली. एड्स आजारावर प्रतिबंधात्मक उपाययोजना म्हणून औद्योगिक क्षेत्रात कंडोम व्हेंडिंग मशीन बसवावी, अशा सूचनाही श्री.चव्हाण यांनी अधिकाऱ्यांना केल्या. प्रकल्पांतर्गत राबविलेल्या उपक्रमांची माहिती श्री. पवार यांनी सादर केली.
