यूपी के कौशांबी में छेड़खानी के दर्ज मुक़दमें में सुलह न करने पर दबंगो ने महिला के चेहरे पर एसिड अटैक कर दिया, जिससे महिला का चेहरा गंभीर रूप से झुलस गया। घटना को अंजाम देने के बाद बाइक सवार दबंग मौके से फरार हो गए । महिला ने 3 लोगों को पहचान लिया। जबकि दो लोगों को नहीं पहचान सकी। परिजन उसे इलाज के लिए जिला अस्पताल ले गए। हालत गंभीर देख चिकित्सकों ने प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद प्रयागराज के एसआरएन अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया। जहां महिला का इलाज चल रहा है। पीड़िता की तहरीर पर पुलिस ने दो नामजद और दो अज्ञात लोगो के खिलाफ एसिड से हमला करने सहित अन्य गंभीर धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर घटना की छानबीन शुरू कर दी है।
मंझनपुर कोतवाली क्षेत्र के मलाक सद्दी गांव की सविता देवी ने महीनों पहले कुछ लोगो के खिलाफ छेड़खानी का मुकदमा दर्ज कराया था। तहरीर पाकर पुलिस ने छेड़खानी सहित अन्य गंभीर धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर घटना की छानबीन शुरू कर दी। पीड़िता ने बताया कि वह लोग सुलह का दबाव बनाने लगे। बावजूद इसके पीड़िता मुकदमे में सुलह नहीं हो रही थी। 28 मार्च की शाम पीड़िता खेत से वापस अपने घर आ रही थी। रास्ते में ही परिवार कुछ लोगो ने बाइक से आकर रोक लिया। दबंग मुकदमे में सुलह के लिए गाली गलौज करने लगे। महिला ने इंकार कर दिया तो उसके चेहरे पर तेजाब फेंककर भाग निकले, जिससे महिला का चेहरा गंभीर रूप से झुलस गया। चीख पुकार सुन मौके पर स्थानीय लोगों की भीड़ जुट गई। किसी ने परिजनों को घटना की जानकारी दी। मौके पर पहुंचे परिजन महिला को इलाज के लिए मंझनपुर के जिला अस्पताल ले गए। जहां पर चिकित्सकों ने उसका इलाज शुरू किया। लेकिन हालत गंभीर होने पर प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसे प्रयागराज के एसआरएन अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया। महिला का इलाज चल रहा है। पीड़िता ने घटना की तहरीर मंझनपुर कोतवाली पुलिस को दी। पीड़िता की तहरीर पर पुलिस ने एसिड अटैक एवं धमकी देने का मुकदमा दर्ज कर घटना की छानबीन शुरू कर दी। अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक अमर बहादुर सिंह ने बताया कि मंझनपुर कोतवाली इलाके में एक ऐसा प्रकरण आया हुआ है। तहरीर के आधार पर मुकदमा दर्ज कर आगे की विधिक कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

जौनपुर में एसिड अटैक से घायल महिला की वाराणसी में इलाज के दौरान 27 मार्च को मौत हो गई 28 मार्च को पोस्टमार्टम के बाद देर शाम महिला का शव उसके घर लाया गया । जिसके बाद परिजन पिछले लगभग 20 घंटे से महिला का शव घर पर ही रख कर अंतिम संस्कार करने से उस वक्त तक इंकार कर रहे हैं जब तक कोई अधिकारी मौके पर नहीं आ जाता । बता दें कि मछली शहर के कपूरपुर गांव की रहने वाली किरन देवी पर 18 जनवरी को जमीनी विवाद को लेकर दबंगों द्वारा तेजाब फेंक दिया गया था जिससे वो काफी झुलस गई थी । जौनपुर जिला अस्पताल में इलाज के बाद उसे वाराणसी रेफर कर दिया गया था । इधर पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर पहले ही जेल भेज चुकी है। लेकिन महिला की मौत के बाद परिजन प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के आने की जिद पर अड़े हुए हैं। एसीड अटैक से जख्मी महिला के मौत के बाद परिजनों का अंतिम संस्कार न करने के मामले में मौके पर पहुँची एसडीएम मछलीशहर ज्योति सिंह ने परिजनों को समझाया और उनकी मांगों को ध्यान में रखते हुए उन्हें पूरा करने का भरोसा दिया जिसके बाद परिजन शव का अंतिम संस्कार करने के लिए तैयार हो गए।

आज सुबह जालंधर के पीएपी चौक पर दो अज्ञात युवकों ने एक लड़की के चेहरे पर तेजाब डाल दिया। लड़की को मौजूदा समय में इलाज के लिए अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया गया है और पुलिस लड़की के बयान से जुड़े मामले की जांच में जुट गई है।
जालंधर के जोहल अस्पताल में जिस लड़की का इलाज चल रहा है, उसका नाम मनिंदर कौर है, जो जोहल अस्पताल में लैब टेक्नीशियन के रूप में काम करती है। आज सुबह जब ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर की लड़की, पीएपी चौक के पास, अपने घर से सुबह अपने काम के लिए रामा मंडी में अपने अस्पताल आ रही थी, जब उसने ऑटो स्विच करना शुरू किया, तो दो मोटर साइकल पर सवार युवकों ने तेजाब जैसा कुछ फेंका। इसके बाद लड़की को तुरंत अस्पताल लाया गया।
स्पताल के डॉक्टर बीएस जोहल ने कहा कि इस समय लद्दाखी की हालत ज्यादा खराब नहीं है, लेकिन ऐसे मामलों में पीड़ित के नुकसान के बारे में कुछ ही समय बाद पता चलता है, इसलिए वह वर्तमान में चिकित्सा देखरेख में है।
मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने कहा कि आरोपी लड़की के बयानों की जांच कर रहे हैं और आरोपी आरोपियों की जांच कर रहे हैं।
