Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर चाइल्ड ट्रैफिकिंग का काम कर रहे एक गिरोह का भड़ाफोड़ किया है। दरअसल पुलिस ने इस गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ करने के लिए पुलिस कॉन्स्टेबल को नकली ग्राहक बनाया और उस ग्राहक बने पुलिसकर्मी ने गिरोह की महिलाओं से संपर्क किया और एक बच्चे की जरूरत बताई और कहा कि वह नि:संतान है, उसे एक बच्चा चाहिए। दो महिलाएं रोहिणी सेक्टर-3 में आउटर रिंग रोड के किनारे उससे मिलने के लिए पहुंची और उसके बाद उन्होंने एक महिला को और एक शख्स को बुलाया, महिला के हाथ में एक नवजात बच्ची थी और जो पुरुष साथ में आया था, जाँच में खुलासा हुआ कि जहांगीरपुरी के एक निजी अस्पताल का मालिक है। उस महिला ने अपनी बच्ची को दिखाया और 1,10000 में सौदा तय हुआ और 10,000 एडवांस के रूप में उस गिरोह ने लिए और तभी पुलिसकर्मी ने पुलिस की बाकी टीम को संकेत दिया और चारों को मौके से ही दबोच लिया।

14 ആഴ്ച്ചകള് മാത്രം ആയുസ്സുണ്ടായിരുന്ന തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞ് ഗര്ഭസ്ഥാവസ്ഥയില് മരിച്ചു പോയെന്നറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും അബോര്ഷന് തയ്യാറാകാത്ത ഒരമ്മ. ഏറെ നാള് കാത്തിരുന്നുണ്ടായ കൺമണി വയറിനുള്ളിൽ മരിച്ചു ടക്കുകയാണെന്നറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞിനെ നൊന്തു പ്രസവിക്കണമെന്ന അമ്മയുടെ നിശ്ചയദാർഢ്യത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ ഡോക്ടർമാരും വഴങ്ങി. ഗർഭം അലസിപ്പിക്കാതെ മരുന്നുകൾ കുത്തിവച്ച് സ്വാഭാവികമായി പ്രസവിക്കാൻ ഷരൺ എന്ന അമ്മയ്ക്ക് അവർ അവസരം നൽകി. 'ജീവനോടെ പിറക്കാതെ പോയ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവർക്കും കേവലം ആശുപത്രി മാലിന്യമോ വെറും ഭ്രൂണമോ ഒക്കെയായിരിക്കും. എന്നാൽ തന്നെ സംബന്ധിച്ചടത്തോളം അത് തന്റെ കൺമണിയാണെന്നാണ് ഷരൺ പറയുന്നുന്നത്.മിരാൻ എന്ന് പേരിട്ട കുഞ്ഞിനെ അധികൃതർക്ക് സംസ്കരിക്കാൻ വിട്ടു കൊടുക്കാതെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോന്ന ഷരൺ അവന്റെ കുഞ്ഞിക്കൈകളുടെയും കാലുകളുടെയും ചിത്രങ്ങൾ പകർത്തി സൂക്ഷിച്ചു. സലീൻ സൊലൂഷ്യൻ ലായനിയിലും ഫ്രിഡ്ജിലുമൊക്കെയായി ഏകദേശം ഒരാഴ്ചക്കാലം അവര് മിരാനെ വീട്ടിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു. പൂർണ്ണവളർച്ചയെത്തി കുഞ്ഞ് പിറക്കേണ്ടയിരുന്ന ദിവസം ജീവനില്ലാതെ പിറന്ന തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞിന്റെ ചിത്രം ആ അമ്മ ലോകത്തിന് പങ്കുവെച്ചു. ഗർഭമലസിപ്പിക്കണമെന്ന ചിന്തക്കുന്നവരെ ഒരു പുനർചിന്തയ്ക്ക് വിധേയരാക്കാനായാണ് ഈ ചിത്രവും തന്റെ അനുഭവും സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കുവച്ചതെന്നാണ് ഷരൺ പറയുന്നത്. താൻ പങ്കുവച്ച ചിത്രങ്ങൾ കണ്ടശേഷം തന്റെ ഒരു സുഹൃത്ത് അബോർഷനിൽ നിന്നു പിന്മാറിയെന്നും ഷരൺ പറഞ്ഞു. യുഎസിലെ മിസോറി സ്വദേശിയാണ് ഷരൺ. ഭർത്താവ് മിഷേൽ ഭാര്യയ്ക്ക് പൂര്ണ്ണ പിന്തുണയുമായി ഒപ്പമുണ്ട്.
ഒരാഴ്ച വീട്ടിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ച മിരാനെ ഫ്യൂണറൽ ഡയറക്ടറുടെ നിർദേശപ്രകാരം വീട്ടിലെ പൂന്തോട്ടത്തിൽ സംസ്കരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
