Anurag Kashyap is all set to get back to the screens with his next directorial Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat, starring Alaya F and newcomer Karan Mehta. Before the film’s release, the director got in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, where he opened up on the new age romance and how parents play the ‘invisible villains’ in it. He also revealed his daughter Aliyah Kashyap’s contribution to the film including her YouTube being the inspiration for the story and her introducing Karan Mehta to Anurag. The director shared the interesting story of how Alaya also came on board the film. Before completing the shoot of this film, Anurag had suffered a heart attack and he discussed the effect it had on him and why he backed out of Twitter. He explained the reason behind Hindi films not working as well as the South films, why the success of Pathaan is important and not receiving support from the Hindi film industry during his tough times. SS Rajamouli‘s last film, the Baahubali series, was a phenomenal success. Since then everyone had been waiting with bated breath to know what the filmmaker is planning to do next. Well, for his next film, he has zeroed in on Junior NTR and Ramcharan to play the lead actors. He is now in hunt for the leading lady. Earlier, there was a buzz doing the rounds that he was on the lookout for a Bollywood actress to play the lead actress in the film, but now reports suggest that the filmmaker is planning on roping in Telugu industry’s number one actress, Samantha Akkineni. The actress has already worked with this team before, which means she already shares a great equation with everyone. To top it all she worked with Rajamouli in Eega, which was a huge hit. So, to say that this film will follow suit, won’t be a gross exaggeration.
