शाहजहांपुर। नगर के थाना कोतवाली क्षेत्र में स्थित वित्तमंत्री मंत्री के आवास के सामने मौजूद मंदिर के बाबा ने एक 9 वर्षीय मासूम को उस समय बुरी नियत से पकड़ कर कमरे में बंद कर लिया जब वह होली पर बल्ले बनाने के लिए मंदिर के पास से गोबर बीनने गई थी बच्ची द्वारा शोर मचाने पर आस पास के लोग एकत्र हो गए औऱ बाबा को घेर लिया सूचना पर मौके पर पहुची कोतवाली पुलिस ने किसी तरह बाबा को पब्लिक के चंगुल से छुड़ाकर कोतवाली पहुचाया ।पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी सदर प्रवीण सिंह यादव ने बताया कि थाना कोतवाली क्षेत्र में मौजूद एक मंदिर के बाबा द्वारा एक मासूम 9 वर्षीय बच्ची को बुरी नियत से पकड़ कर मंदिर के कमरे में बंद करने की सूचना मिली मौके पर पहुची कोतवाली पुलिस ने लोगो के आक्रोश को शांत कर बाबा को गिरफ्तार कर के पॉक्सो एक्ट में मुकदमा पंजीकृत करके वैधानिक कार्यवाही की जा रही है।

As the country rages over the growing incidents of rape, President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday said that the people, who have been convicted of a crime under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, should not be given the right to file a mercy plea. While addressing a gathering after inaugurating the National Conference on 'Empowerment of Women for Social Transformation' at the Brahma Kumaris' headquarters in Rajasthan's Mount Abu, the President said it is up to Parliament to take a final call in this matter.

The Union Cabinet Wednesday approved amendments in the POCSO Act, which deals with crime against children, and included death penalty for sexual assault on minors, officials said. The amendments in the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act also provide for fines and imprisonment to curb child pornography. The changes are expected to discourage the trend of child sexual abuse by acting as a deterrent due to strong penal provisions incorporated in the Act, the government said.

સમગ્ર ઘટનાની વાત કરવામાં આવે તો આ ઘટના સુરતના વાડી ફળીયા વિસ્તારની છે કે, જ્યાં ભંગાર ખરીદવા આવેલો ભંગારવાળો બપોરના 3 વાગ્યાના સુમારે શેરીમાં રમતી બાળકીને વેફર અપાવીને ફોસલાવીને પોતાની સાથે લાવ્યો હતો. બાળકી સાથે દુષ્કર્મ કરવાના ઇરાદે બાળકીને શેરીમાં આવેલા એક એપાર્મેન્ટમાં લઈ ગયો હતો. ભંગારવાળો જ્યારે બાળકીને એપાર્મેન્ટની લિફ્ટમાં લઈ ગયો ત્યારે એપાર્મેન્ટના એક યુવકને ભંગારવાળા પર શંકા જતા યુવકે બાળકીને એપાર્મેન્ટની બહાર ભગાડી મૂકી હતી. માર ખાવાના ડરથી ભંગારવાળો પણ એપાર્મેન્ટની લિફ્ટમાંથી ભાગ્યો હતો.
