अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के नाम बदलने को लेकर जो रिट सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दायर की गयी थी,उसे देश की सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के चीफ जस्टिस खंडपीठ ने खारिज कर दिया है,इस पर एएमयू छात्र संघ अध्यक्ष और सेकेट्री ने कोर्ट के आदेश का स्वागत करते हुए कहा जो लोग देश मे नाम बदलने को राजनीति कर रहे उन्हें जनता 2019 के चुनाव में सबक सिखाने का काम करेगी,इतना ही पिछले तीन चार सालों में जो एक महजब टारगेट कर उसे बदनाम करने का काम किया जा रहा है बर्दास्त नही किया जाएगा,यह फैसला उन लोगों के मुंह पर तमाचा है जो लोग नाम बदलने की राजनीति कर रहे है,वही एएमयू के जनसंपर्क अधिकारी उमर पीर ज्यादा ने कोर्ट के फैसले का स्वागत किया हैं,
