Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.

The two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders will be up against Punjab Kings in the 45th match of the IPL 2021. UAE is turning out to be a happy hunting ground for Knight Riders, as they have won 3 of their last 4 matches played here in the second leg of IPL. Despite fighting hard till the last ball against Chennai Super Kings, they eventually lost their second last match in the end by 2 wickets. Spirits will be high in the group, as they defeated Delhi Capitals by 3 wickets in their previous match. They are occupying the fourth spot in the standings with 10 points.
The same old story is continuing for Punjab Kings this year as well. They are struggling to field their best eleven on the field, which is hurting them big time. The lack of big hitters in the middle overs has hampered their progress in this edition. They lost to Mumbai Indians in their previous encounter by 6 wickets. It’s a must-win game for them and it will be interesting how they approach this match.
Sunil Narine was the player of the match in the last match against Delhi Capitals for his all-round display. He picked up 2 wickets at an economy of 4.5 and later scored a quickfire 21 runs from just 10 deliveries.
Lokesh Rahul hasn’t gone big in the second leg, given the high standards he has set. He has managed to score 91 runs in the last 3 matches. Punjab Kings are expecting a huge score from him in the do-or-die game.

In their last 13 meeting, MI have won as many as 12 times. In the second leg, both teams have had contrasting starts. The Mumbai-based team went down to the Chennai Super Kings by 20 runs. MI didn’t have Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya in their team and their absence was well and truly felt.

While the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) side in their first match of IPL 2021 by 10 runs, they went down by the same margin against Mumbai Indians (MI).
On the other hand, the Virat Kohli-led Bangalore side showed excellent fighting spirit in their previous clash against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) outfit. Even though RCB only scored 149/8 in their allotted 20 overs, Kohli and his men managed to restrict the ‘Orange Army’ to a total of just 143.
And, while the Bangalore side will look to continue with their unbeaten run in the tournament, the Kolkata outfit will be looking for a reversal of fortunes.

Given their history, not many Mumbai Indians fans will be disappointed at their defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first game of the competition. They have traditionally been slow-starters, but if there is one game they will be super-confident about, it is the game against Kolkata Knight Riders.
The Indians have dominated the Knights since the inception of this competition and will aim to continue the tradition. This time around, however, the dynamic will be a bit different. Firstly, the Knights will be buzzing after their hard-fought win over a strong Sunrisers Hyderabad team. To add to that, the match is in Chennai, where KKR’s spin trio of Shakib Al Hasan, Harbhajan Singh and Varun Chakravarthy will enjoy bowling.
Interestingly, the surface here in Chennai has not been all about the bowlers. While the surface is certainly a tacky one, the likes of Nitish Rana and AB de Villiers have proved that there are runs in it as well. Overall, anything around 175 should be a good total on this ground.

Kolkata Knight Riders haven’t had a good IPL campaign for a couple of years now. In both 2019 and 2020, they failed to make it to the playoffs. But things are expected to be different this time, with the ICC Cricket World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan leading the team from the very beginning.
The Knight Riders have made some clever additions to their team, which includes the Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. They will start their campaign with a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, who made the playoffs last season but couldn’t make it to the finals. Hyderabad’s team was already a pretty solid unit, so whatever additions they have made at the auction table are simply to add to their depth, and not replace any first-team player.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s leading run-scorer of IPL 2020, David Warner has predominantly played 50-over and Test matches recently. But the Aussie dynamo is extremely dangerous in this format of the game and we all are aware of his capabilities. In his last 5 IPL games, he scored 60+ runs on two occasions.
