On Friday midnight, a sudden storm caused a lot of destruction, due to which there has been a lot of damage in many places of the state. The storm which came in the night in Shimla district wreaked havoc. In other areas including Theog Kumarsen and Chopal, apple trees were uprooted along with the roots.Trees fell at many places in Una and many electricity lines were also snapped....
हिमाचल प्रदेश में मौसम का मिजाज दिन-प्रतिदिन बदलता जा रहा है। कभी दिन के उजाले में सूर्य देव प्रचंड गर्मी से लोगों को परेशान कर रहे हैं तो रात के अंधेरे में आने वाली आंधियां भी लोगों की मुसीबतें बढ़ाने में कोई कमी नहीं छोड़ रही है। शुक्रवार मध्य रात्रि एकाएक आई आंधी ने जमकर तबाही मचाई जिसके चलते प्रदेश के कई स्थानों पर खासा नुकसान हुआ है। शिमला जिले में रात को आए तूफ़ान ने क़हर बरपाया। ठियोग कुमारसेन व चौपाल सहित अन्य इलाकों में सेब के पेड़ जड़ों के साथ उखड़ गए। ऊना में कई स्थानों पर पेड़ गिर गए और बिजली की भी कई लाइनें टूट गई। जिसके कारण अधिकांश क्षेत्रों में लोगों को रात भर बिना बिजली के बितानी पड़ी। पिछले करीब 3 दिनों से जिला के अधिकांश क्षेत्र रात भर ब्लैक आउट की चपेट में रहे हैं। कभी बिजली का कट तो कभी आंधी के चलते पैदा हुई समस्या लोगों के लिए लगातार परेशानी बढ़ा रही हैं। शुक्रवार मध्यरात्रि हालांकि आंधी के साथ बारिश भी हुई। लेकिन बिजली आपूर्ति ठप होने के चलते कई लोगों को काफी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ा। शनिवार की सुबह बिजली बोर्ड समेत पीडब्ल्यूडी विभाग के अधिकारी गिरे हुए पेड़ों की काट छांट करते हुए सड़कों और बिजली की आपूर्ति को सुचारू करते हुए दिखाई दिए।
