आज सुबह जालंधर के पीएपी चौक पर दो अज्ञात युवकों ने एक लड़की के चेहरे पर तेजाब डाल दिया। लड़की को मौजूदा समय में इलाज के लिए अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया गया है और पुलिस लड़की के बयान से जुड़े मामले की जांच में जुट गई है।
जालंधर के जोहल अस्पताल में जिस लड़की का इलाज चल रहा है, उसका नाम मनिंदर कौर है, जो जोहल अस्पताल में लैब टेक्नीशियन के रूप में काम करती है। आज सुबह जब ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर की लड़की, पीएपी चौक के पास, अपने घर से सुबह अपने काम के लिए रामा मंडी में अपने अस्पताल आ रही थी, जब उसने ऑटो स्विच करना शुरू किया, तो दो मोटर साइकल पर सवार युवकों ने तेजाब जैसा कुछ फेंका। इसके बाद लड़की को तुरंत अस्पताल लाया गया।
स्पताल के डॉक्टर बीएस जोहल ने कहा कि इस समय लद्दाखी की हालत ज्यादा खराब नहीं है, लेकिन ऐसे मामलों में पीड़ित के नुकसान के बारे में कुछ ही समय बाद पता चलता है, इसलिए वह वर्तमान में चिकित्सा देखरेख में है।
मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने कहा कि आरोपी लड़की के बयानों की जांच कर रहे हैं और आरोपी आरोपियों की जांच कर रहे हैं।

जौनपुर सरायख्वाजा थानांतर्गत सरायख्वाजा गांव में बुधवार को जमीन विवाद और मुकदमे का सुलह न करने पर विपक्षियों ने महिला पर तेजाब फेंक दिया। गंभीर हालत में उसे जिला अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया गया। हमले के बाद पीड़िता थाने पहुंची थी, लेकिन उसकी शिकायत दर्ज नहीं की गई।पीड़िता ने एसपी से गुहार लगाई तो केस दर्ज कर लिया गया ।
गांव के गुलाब का कुछ लोगों से जमीन विवाद चल रहा है। विवादित जमीन पर स्थित उसका मड़हा विपक्षियों ने जला दिया। इसके बाद उस जमीन पर कब्जा कर लिया। विरोध करने पर गुलाब की पत्नी सुषमा को पीटा भी था। इस पर सुषमा ने थाने में शिकायत की, लेकिन विपक्षियों के रसूख के चलते मामला दर्ज नहीं हुआ।कोर्ट के आदेश पर मामला दर्ज होते ही विपक्षियों ने सुषमा पर विवाद और केस में सुलह करने का दबाव बनाना शुरू कर दिया। वह इस पर तैयार नहीं हुई। जमीन विवाद और केस में सुलह करने के लिए विपक्षी लगातार दबाव बना रहे थे। बुधवार की देर शाम कुछ लोग सुषमा के घर पहुंचे। वहां फिर सुलह-समझौते की बात शुरू हुई। इस बार भी वह नहीं मानी तो वहां गए लोगों ने साथ में मौजूद तेजाब उसके चेहरे पर फेंक दिया जिसमें उसकी पीठ भी झुलस गई। हमला होते ही वह शोर मचाने लगी। आवाज सुन परिजन और आसपास के लोग वहां जुट गए। गंभीर हालत में झुलसी महिला को लेकर सभी थाने पहुंचे। वहां शिकायत करने पर पुलिसकर्मियों ने पहले उपचार कराने की बात कह कर टरका दिया। इसके बाद सभी पास के ही एक निजी चिकित्सक के पास पहुंचे। उसने प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद जिला अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया। जहा उसका इलाज चल रहा है।

वही इलाका वासी अजय कुमार अरोड़ा ने बताया कि इस फैक्ट्री को कम से कम 15 से 20 सालों से बैटरी मैं तेजाबी पानी भरने का काम चलता है किसने की हमारे घरों की दीवारें खराब हो चुकी है और कोई भी बढ़ा हादसा हो सकता है इसी के चलते हमने पुलिस चौकी को कंप्लेंट भी की है लेकिन पुलिस कोई भी कार्रवाई नहीं करती इसी के चलते हैं आज इलाका वासियों ने धरना प्रदर्शन करते हुए प्रशासन से मांग की है कि इस फैक्ट्री को जल्द से जल्द बंद किया जाए
