While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. Digital Payments a potential threat to Indian Banks
E-commerce has transformed the way business is done in India. The Indian E-commerce market is expected to grow to $111.40 billion by 2025 from $46.2 billion as of 2020. By 2030, it is expected to reach $350 billion. According to NASSCOM, despite COVID-19 challenges/disruptions, India's e-commerce market continues to grow at 5%, with expected sales of $56.6 billion in 2021. After China and the US, India had the third-largest online shopper base of 140 million in 2020. The financial services industry is in the midst of a significant transformation, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. And given the key role digitisation plays in the financial lives of more and more of the world’s population, electronic payments are at the epicentre of this transformation. As per PWC survey, Payments are becoming increasingly cashless, and the industry’s role in fostering inclusion has become a significant priority. Payments also are supporting the development of digital economies and are driving innovation — all while functioning as a stable backbone for our economies. 86% agreed that traditional payments providers will collaborate with fintechs and technology providers as one of their main sources of innovation. Another solid reason for growth is India’s online shopping sector is currently worth $36.5 billion, a value that has consistently expanded at double-digit rates in recent years.
The digital payments sector in India has been growing at an exponential rate, with the penetration of technology in the deep interiors of the country. India's top banker Uday Kotak said lenders based in the country may end up losing large portions of their traditional business to digital wallet platforms such as Google Pay and Walmart-backed Phonepe. Banks in the country have joined hands to create a new company that will leverage the power of blockchain technology to speed up the processing of Letters of Credit (LCs). The blockchain technology creates a digital ledger by integrating data from across platforms and hardware and enables independent parties, spread across the globe, to share data across the network. Indian Banks' Blockchain Infrastructure Company Private Limited (IBBIC) is a coalition of 15 banks, including ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, RBL Bank, SBI and Canara Bank joined to benefit from the transformation. The system will be based on Infosys’ Finacle Connect, a blockchain-based platform that enables digitisation and automation of trade-related finance processes. The move is expected to eliminate paperwork, reduce transaction processing time, and offer a secure environment. Moreover, it could be a boon for medium and small-scale enterprises. The LCs are the letters from a bank that guarantee that a buyer will pay the seller on time, and for the correct amount. Currently, the process of issuing an LC is relatively slow and requires human intervention to prevent frauds, authenticate transactions, and balance the ledger. Using blockchain to issue LCs would potentially solve these issues. Even elemental fraud like the issuance of two LCs on a single invoice can be easily prevented with the help of this blockchain technology.
Organizations are leveraging the blockchain technology to create smart contracts that remove the need for third-party administrators and evaluators. Today's supply chains are globally-dispersed with raw materials being sourced from different locations, each set of the parts being produced and assembled in different locations. The final products then need to be packaged, stored in warehouses and delivered to the final consumers or the seller chains. It is a set of highly interconnect

The UK High Court has ordered embattled liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya to pay a minimum of 200,000 pounds or Rs 1.81 crore towards the costs incurred by 13 Indian banks in their legal battle to recover alleged dues.Last month, Judge Andrew Henshaw had refused to overturn a worldwide order freezing Mallya's assets and upheld an Indian court's ruling that a consortium of 13 Indian banks led by State Bank of India (SBI) were entitled to recover funds amounting to nearly 1.145 billion pounds.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday made a sudden announcement said that from the midnight of 8 November, currency notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 denominations will no longer be legal tender.
The government plans to introduce a set of new Rs 500 and Rs 2000 denomination notes in the coming months.
The decision has been taken to curb the flow of black money, and is quite inspired by yoga guru Baba Ramdev, who has been demanding a ban on higher denomination notes for the last few years.
