भारतीय सेना की तरफ से POK में की गई सरजीकल स्ट्राईक की पहली बार एक वीडियो सामने आई है । भारतीय सेना की तरफ से आतंकवादियों के अड्डे पर एक बड़ा हमला किया गया था। जिस में 50 के करीब आतंकवादी मारे गए थे। बता दें कि सेना द्वारा सरजीकल स्ट्राईक 26 सितम्बर, 2016 को की गई थी। जिस में भारतीय सेना ने तीन किलोमीटर अंदर घुसकर कार्यवाही की थी। सूत्रों के मुताबिक इस आपरेशन में पाकिस्तान की सेना का भी भारी नुक्सान हुआ था। गौरतलब है कि भारतीय जवानों ने इस दौरान आतंकवादियों के लांचिंग पेड्स को भी नष्ट कर दिया था। सरजीकल स्ट्राईक की वीडियो सामने आने के बाद पंजाब के मुख्य मंत्री कैप्टन अमरिन्दर सिंह ने इसको राजनीतिक न बताते हुए सेना की कारगुज़ारी बताया। वहही कांग्रेस नेता राज कुमार वेरका ने इस वीडियो को वोटों के लिए लोगों को लुभाने का विधि बताया।

JAMMU: Union minister Jitendra Singh on Sunday said National Conference president Farooq Abdullah was making himself “irrelevant” and treading on a self-defeating course with his remarks on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). On November 11, Abdullah had told reporters that PoK belonged to Pakistan and “this won’t change” no matter how many wars India and Pakistan fight.

After his “PoK belongs to Pakistan” remark last week, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday made another controversial statement saying Pakistan was “not weak to allow India to take that part of Jammu and Kashmir under its occupation”.
Addressing party workers in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, the former chief minister said, “How long shall we keep saying that (PoK) is our part? It (PoK) is not their father’s share. That (PoK) is Pakistan and this (J-K) is India.”

Reiterating his earlier stand on the Kashmir issue, National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday said that India should give up on the pursuit of acquiring Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and merging it in its territory.
"For how long will we keep shedding the blood of the innocent people and keep saying that it (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) is our part? It is not owned by them (India). Seventy years have passed. That is Pakistan, this is India. They (India) haven't been able to acquire it in 70 years.
