മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വിളിച്ച സര്വകക്ഷിയോഗത്തില് യുഡിഎഫ് പങ്കെടുക്കും. മുന്നണിയിലെ അഭിപ്രായവ്യത്യാസങ്ങള് മറികടന്നാണ് യു ഡി എഫ് തീരുമാനം. പങ്കെടുക്കേണ്ടെന്നായിരുന്നു കെപിസിസി പ്രസിഡന്റ് മുല്ലപ്പള്ളി രാമചന്ദ്രന്റെ നിലപാട്. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ നില പരുങ്ങലിലായപ്പോഴാണ് യോഗം വിളിച്ചതെന്ന് മുല്ലപ്പള്ളി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. കോണ്ഗ്രസ് മുന്പ് ഈ ആവശ്യം ഉന്നയിച്ചപ്പോള് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പുച്ഛിച്ചെന്നും മുല്ലപ്പള്ളി പറഞ്ഞു. എന്നാല് യോഗത്തില് പങ്കെടുക്കണമെന്ന് ഘടകകക്ഷികള് നിലപാടെടുത്തു. സമാധാനം തകര്ക്കുന്ന ഒന്നും ശബരിമലയില് ഉണ്ടാകരുതെന്ന് യുഡിഎഫ് ആവശ്യപ്പെടും.നാളെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വിളിച്ച യോഗത്തില് പന്തളം കൊട്ടരം പ്രതിനിധി പങ്കെടുക്കും. സര്വകക്ഷിയോഗത്തിനുശേഷം വൈകിട്ട് മൂന്നരയ്ക്കാണ് ചര്ച്ച. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ഒാഫീസില്നിന്ന് ക്ഷണം ലഭിച്ചതായി കൊട്ടാരം പ്രതിനിധി അറിയിച്ചു. തന്ത്രി കുടുംബത്തിലെ പ്രതിനിധിയും ചര്ച്ചയില് പങ്കെടുക്കും. ശബരിമലയില് ആചാരലംഘനം പാടില്ലെന്ന നിലപാട് സര്ക്കാരിനെ അറിയിക്കും.എന്നാൽ സര്ക്കാര് വിളിച്ച സര്വകക്ഷിയോഗത്തില് പങ്കെടുക്കണമോ എന്ന് എന്.ഡി.എ യോഗംചേര്ന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കുമെന്ന് ബി.ജെ.പി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷന് പി.എസ്. ശ്രീധരന് പിള്ള വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

ശബരിമലയിലെ യുവതി പ്രവേശനവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് നിലവിലെ സ്ഥിതി അതീവ ഗുരുതരമാണെന്ന് ശബരിമല സ്പെഷ്യല് കമ്മീഷണര് ഹൈക്കോടതിയില് റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് നല്കി. ഈ സ്ഥിതി തുടര്ന്നാല് മണ്ഡലകാലം കലുഷിതമാകും. ഇരുമുടിക്കെട്ടില്ലാതെ പതിനെട്ടാംപടി കയറിയത് ആചാരലംഘനമാണ്. ചിത്തിര ആട്ട വിശേഷത്തിന് സ്ത്രീകളെ തടഞ്ഞത് തെറ്റാണെന്നും റിപ്പോര്ട്ടില് പറയുന്നു.
സുരക്ഷാഭീഷണിയുള്ള തീര്ഥാടന കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് ശബരിമല. രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്ട്ടികളുടെ പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തിന് നിയന്ത്രണം ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തണം. അല്ലെങ്കില് ദേശവിരുദ്ധ ശക്തികളും ക്രിമിനലുകളും നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യം മുതലെടുക്കുമെന്നും റിപ്പോര്ട്ടില് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കുന്നു. അതേസമയം, യുവതി പ്രവേശനം ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തുള്ള റിട്ട്, റിവ്യൂ ഹര്ജികള് സുപ്രീം കേടതി ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച പരിഗണിക്കും. ശബരിമല വിഷയത്തില് സി.പി.എമ്മിന്റെ നിലപാടില് ഒരു മാറ്റവുമുണ്ടാവില്ലെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി കോടിയേരി ബാലകൃഷ്ണന് അറിയിച്ചു. അടുത്ത ലോക്സഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില് സിപിഎമ്മിന് ഒരു സീറ്റുപോലും കിട്ടിയില്ലെങ്കിലും നിലപാടില് മാറ്റംവരുത്തില്ല. എന്തു പ്രത്യാഘാതം ഉണ്ടായാലും യുവതി പ്രവേശനം സംബന്ധിച്ച സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധി നടപ്പാക്കും.ആര്.എസ്.എസ് നേതാവ് വത്സല് തില്ലങ്കേരി ഇരുമുടിക്കെട്ടില്ലാതെ പതിനെട്ടാംപടി ചവിട്ടിയത് ആചാരലംഘനമാണെന്ന് തിരുവിതാംകൂര് ദേവസ്വംബോര്ഡ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് എ.പത്മകുമാര് പറഞ്ഞു.
ശബരിമലയിലെ യുവതി പ്രവേശന വിധി അനുസരിക്കാന് ഭരണഘടനാസ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്ക് ബാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നും പത്മകുമാര് കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
