    Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Friday lowered the fiscal deficit target to 3.3 per cent for the current fiscal from the earlier estimate of 3.4 per cent of the GDP. "The fiscal deficit this year is 3.3 per cent brought down from 3.4 per cent," she said while presenting Budget for 2019-20.     Enhancing its role in India's fight against coronavirus, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed techniques for carrying out sanitisation of different areas, officials said on Friday. The Centre for Fire Explosive & Environment Safety (CFEES), Delhi has developed two configurations for sanitising equipment. "A total of 11 CISF jawans posted at the Mumbai airport tested COVID-19 positive. In all, 142 were under quarantine since last a few days. Out of which four were tested positive yesterday and others were tested positive today," said the CISF.

Several states have announced lockdown including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Some people are coming out to get necessities. Besides, all the essential services will be provided in duration of lockdown. Centre has also announced lockdown in 75 districts across country that are affected with coronavirus. People have been increasingly advised to stay inside in order to fight back COVID-19. The disease has claimed 7 lives while over 350 positive cases have been reported.
