Google shows on the homepage a nice holiday greeting. If you roll over it, it says: "Happy Holidays from Google".
The doodle is not animated - today...
On the left, over the "G", you can see a snowflake symbol. Next comes a Santa Claus, followed by a yellow bell. The Google "g" is a snowman, the "l" a candle. Last but not least the "e" as a present.
In my eyes it looks like Google will ad some blinky action tomorrow.
However - I wish all of you a merry chistmas :-)

For the second day running, Google is saying happy holidays to all its users via a doodle. Just like the doodle on Christmas Eve, Wednesday's Google doodle is rather simple, instead of the more interactive ones we've seen in recent times.
The latest Google doodle, which depicts an unidentifiable city enveloped in festive cheer, with buildings lit up and a Christmas tree marking the occasion, features a message from the company when users roll their cursors over it, saying "'Tis the season!" The doodle first appeared early Christmas morning for regions near the international dateline, such as New Zealand. It is now visible in India as well, at the google.co.in page.
On clicking the image, users are redirected to a Google search page, with results for the search term 'Happy Holidays' being shown. Unfortunately, the results page doesn't show too much cheer, with news results, followed by images and videos, and a relatively irrelevant Wikipedia entry for the song, "Happy Holiday", written by Irving Berlin in 1941.
Google's Christmas Eve doodle consisted of a plain image depicting two people riding a horse-driven sled in a barren winter landscape.
Like last year, there've been some complaints about Google not being sufficiently 'Christmasy' with its doodles, and once again, Google is wishing its users 'Happy Holidays!' instead of Merry Christ

Continuing its Happy Holidays series, Google has now posted the third doodle in the series. This doodle also has design elements similar to the other two doodles posted on December 24 and 25.
The Christmas doodle put up by Google featured a brightly-lit street with an Xmas tree across the street and the letters of Google written underneath. The doodle posted on December 24 featured a one-horse open sleigh dashing through the snow.
In 2012, the Happy Holidays doodle on the Google homepage had a parade of toys, some of whom were playing different musical instruments. The grand master leading the parade was welcoming the festive season, and the letters of the word Google were seen in the backdrop.
In 2011, Google happy holidays doodle was made up of lit up holiday symbols - snowflake, Santa Claus, bell, snowman, candle and a gift box - on a dark background, symbolising the night sky. The Google logo appeared as a faint outline behind the holiday icons.
In 2010, Google had put up a doodle of interactive portraits of holiday scenes from around the world. Before 2010, Google used multiple doodles for the holiday season.

Google has scored a hat-trick of three Google Doodles in three days.
The US-based technology firm's latest illustration, which went live on Boxing Day, shows an isolated cottage surrounded by wide expanses of snow.
Smoke can be seen coming from the chimney, rising against the backdrop of a starry night sky.
On Christmas Day, the Doodle showed traffic against the backdrop of an illuminated cityscape, completed with Christmas tree and festive lights.
And on Christmas Eve, the Doodle showed two children in a one horse open sleigh bombing along in front of a winter backdrop.

'Tis the season to celebrate, and Google has made it sure with its snow globe doodle. A day ahead of Christmas, the search engine giant welcomed the holiday season as with its special doodle titled 'Happy Holidays 2019'. The animated doodle shows Santa and his reindeers on a sleigh sweeping around the world.

Happy Holidays! Google, on Tuesday, wishes 'happy holidays' to its users with a doodle on its home page.
The search engine giant has been wishing its users consistently with attractive Christmas eve doodles.
This year's doodle showcases two children riding on a sleigh in the snow run by a horse. Trees without leaves are also seen in the doodle.
If you move the crusor on the doodle then a message 'Happy holidays from Google!' will appear.
Last year, Google featured a colourful neon design doodle with images of a snowflake, Santa Claus, bell, snowman, candle and a gift box on a black background thus wishing its users "happy holidays".
Google's first holiday doodle, dating back to year 1999, featured a snowman. The snowman made up for the first "O" of the Google logo, and as users scrolled over the Doodle it displayed the message, "Seasons' greetings with a Google Doodle."
Google doodles are the decorative changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate festive season, holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous individuals.
The first Google doodle was created by Larry Page and Sergy Brin Google in the year 1998 to mark the celebrations of the Burning Man Festival. Google currently has over 1000 Doodles.

Today is Christmas Eve and Google is celebrating the holiday season with a doodle on its homepage.
The doodle depicts a fun-filled white winter scene with two kids riding a one horse open sleigh on a snow covered field with three barren trees in the background.
Christmas Eve is an integral part of Christmas festivities; people start celebrating Christmas from this day with families and communities gathering for dinner in the evening and churches holding special services including Midnight Mass.
Google has also included a link on its homepage to track Santa's journey around the world as he goes about delivering gifts to children.
“On Christmas Eve we’ll be proudly showcasing a preview of Santa’s dashboard - the technology that powers his sleigh during his around-the-world journey,” said Google. “Santa’s dashboard - featuring the latest and greatest in Google Maps technology and sleigh engineering - will allow you to follow his progress around the world, and also learn a little about some of his stops along the way.”
