Sequels are all the rage in Hollwood these days, and we have two new part twos that will be hitting the big screen before you know it. And which movies will be getting the sequel treatment? Well,first up is actually the R-Rated, 2003 comedy, Bad Santa, which starred Billy Bob Thornton playing a conman posing as Santa in order to rob department stores on Christmas Eve. Starring with Thornton was the late Bernie Mac and also John Ritter. Deadline is reporting that Entourage creator, Doug Ellin is on board to write the new script to Bad Santa 2, and could possibly direct it as well depending on his scheduling with the new Entourage movie that he is also writing.
Another part two that we will likely see is the sequel to Tim Burton's billion dollar baby, Alice In Wonderland. Variety is reporting that Disney is finally getting a move on with this project, and it looks like James Bobin might be in talks to direct this one. Bobin wrote the successful re-boot of The Muppets back in 2011, and he is currently busy the sequel to that film, Muppets...Again! On board to write the script is the original Alice writer, Linda Woolverton. And, we will keep our eyes and ears open on any details of whether or not Johnny Depp will be back to play the Mad Hatter. There isn't any word just yet on the production schedule of either one of these movies, but when we hear more details, our subscribers will be the first to know. പ്രശസ്ത കലാകാരനും പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകനുമായ ജേസണ്‍ ഡികെയര്‍സ് ടെയിലര്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ച കലാസൃഷ്ടി ഇസ്‌ലാമിന് എതിരാണ് എന്ന കാരണത്താൽ പൊളിച്ചു നീക്കി.മാലിദീപിലെ കൊരലേറിയം (Coralarium) എന്ന പകുതി വെള്ളത്തില്‍ മുങ്ങി കിടക്കുന്ന സൃഷ്ടിയാണ് പൊളിച്ചു നീക്കിയത് . ഇസ്ലാമാണ് മാലിദ്വീപിലെ ഔദ്യോഗിക മതം. മതപണ്ഡിതരും നേതാക്കളുമാണ് ഈ സൃഷ്ടിക്കെതിരെ രംഗത്ത് എത്തിയത്.ഇസ്ലാം മതത്തിനും മാലിദ്വീപിന്റെ ശാന്തിക്കും സമാധാനത്തിനും ഇതൊരു ഭീഷണിയാണെന്ന് കോടതി ഉത്തരവിട്ടതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഈ സൃഷ്ട്ടി പൊളിച്ചു നീക്കാന്‍ ഉത്തരവ് ഇടുകയായിരുന്നു. സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 21-നാണ് ഇത് പൊളിച്ചു നീക്കിയത്. ഇസ്ലാം നിയമപ്രകാരം കലാപരമായ സൃഷ്ടികളില്‍ മനുഷ്യ രൂപങ്ങള്‍ വെക്കാന്‍ പാടില്ല. ലോകത്തുള്ള മറ്റു സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ജേസണ്‍ വെള്ളത്തിനടിയില്‍ ആകര്‍ഷകമായ രൂപങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജേസണ്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ച മാലിദ്വീപിലെ ഈ പദ്ധതി അക്കോര്‍ ഹോട്ടല്‍ ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥയിലുള്ള ഫെയര്‍മോണ്ട് മാല്‍ദീവ്സ് സിറു ഫെന്‍ ഫുഷി റിസോര്‍ട്ടാണ് കമ്മീഷന്‍ ചെയ്തത്. കടലിലെ ജീവികളെയും അവരുടെ ലോകത്തിന്റെയും ഒരു ചെറിയ അനുകരണം ആയിരുന്നു ഈ സൃഷ്ടിയിൽ . 30 മനുഷ്യ രൂപങ്ങളും ഇതില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇതിലൂടെ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ജീവിത രീതികളും ശൈലികളുമാണ് പ്രതിഫലിച്ചിരുന്നത്. മറൈന്‍ എന്‍ജീനിയറുമാര്‍, സ്റ്റീല്‍ നിര്‍മ്മാതാക്കള്‍, മുങ്ങല്‍ വിദഗ്ധര്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ ഒന്‍പത് മാസം കൊണ്ടാണ് ഇത് നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചത്.മാലിദ്വീപ് അധികൃതര്‍ എന്റെ വിലപ്പെട്ട സൃഷ്ടി പൊളിച്ചു നീക്കയെന്ന് നിർമ്മാതാവ് ജേസണ്‍ പറയുന്നു .വളരെ ദുഃഖകരമായ വാര്‍ത്തയാണ് എന്നെ തേടി എത്തിയത്. മനുഷ്യനെയും പ്രകൃതിയെയും ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു ഈ കൊരലേറിയം. മാലിദ്വീപ് മനോഹരമായ ഒരു സ്ഥലമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍, കലയുടെയും പ്രകൃതിയുടെയും കാര്യത്തില്‍ അങ്ങനെയല്ല.'- ജേസണ്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. നിരവധി മനുഷ്യ രൂപങ്ങളാണ് കൊരലേറിയത്തില്‍ ഉള്ളത്. ഇത് വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാണെന്നാണ് മാലിദ്വീപിലെ ആളുകള്‍ പറയുന്നത്. ഇസ്ലാം നിയമപ്രകാരം വിഗ്രഹപൂജ പാപമാണ്.സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളില്‍ മാലിദ്വീപ് സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ ഈ നടപടി വലിയ ചര്‍ച്ചകൾക്ക് വഴിവെക്കുകയും രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ട്ടികളും മറ്റും വിഷയ

Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her.
