The primary idea behind Web3—the term was coined in 2014, by Gavin Wood, it will be based on the same blockchain technology that powers things like cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Blockchains are essentially incorruptible digital ledgers that can be used to track the movement of digital assets. Just as cryptocurrency in theory bypasses central authorities such as banks, Web3 would also bypass the central authorities we know as Big Tech. OT security remains a challenge for the leaders
Organizations represented by the OT leaders who participated in a survey have been largely unsuccessful at preventing cyber criminals from intruding their systems. Nine out of 10 organizations experienced at least one intrusion in the past year, which is almost identical to the results of last year’s survey. Even though the pandemic was an unusual situation, a 90% rate of intrusion represents a significant problem that should concern OT leaders. There was a significant change in insider breach instances, which have increased to 42%. Unlike unintentional security accidents, such as an employee who clicks a bad link, bad actors have malicious intent, which means OT leaders should carefully consider who has access to their systems. Additionally, with many employees working from home, it is likely that the security issues related to home networks contributed to problems.
The fact is OT leaders were not prepared for changes related to the pandemic and had to quickly increase budgets and change processes. The two most important things are SOCs and NOCs which needs more staff and equipment because the pandemic accelerated digital transformation and increased the need for connectivity for secure remote access. The pandemic accelerated the need for third-party secure remote access because technical staff could not be on-site doing work in person. The survey showed significant growth in phishing attacks with 58% reporting this type of intrusion, up from 43% last year. The increase in phishing stems from attackers exploiting weaknesses related to the rapid changes to working that occurred at the beginning of 2020. No one was immune, and along with everyone else, OT organizations were affected. Increased digital connectivity of OT and IT networks rolls on.

The need of the hour is, in case of a breach, organizations should be transparent, reach out to affected users directly and share the scope of the impact of the breach, what actions end users need to take to address the breach impact and what measures the organization has taken/is taking to address current and future incidents. Besides instilling confidence in their end customers for continued business engagement, it would also help restore the damaged trust.

If retail banks are to thrive during this unprecedented pandemic era , it is essential that they evolve into digital-first ‘banks for the future.’ By complementing fast-changing customer demands, weathering competition from new market entrants, navigating pressure to operate more sustainably and ethically, and ensuring greater regulatory compliance and data security, all contribute to the development of a resilient and market-leading institution. A combination of poorly integrated digital experiences and overlayed technologies characterise legacy IT infrastructures, further distancing retail banks from meeting the expectations of their customers. This in turn limits opportunity to generate new revenue.
It is absolutely true that digital-first approach work will improve internal communication and collaboration within retail banks. ओडिशा के एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम द्वीप से किया गया ये परीक्षण।
यह लॉन्च एक पहले से तय रेंज के लिए किया गया था जिसमें 17 मीटर लंबी मिसाइल ने टारगेट्स को अचीव किया।
ये मिसाइल परमाणु हथियार ले जाने में सक्षम है। हालांकि, पारंपरिक और थर्मोबेरिक हथियारों से भी हमला कर सकती है। इसमें एक साथ कई टारगेट पर हमला करने वाली तकनीक MIRV जैसी ही समान टेक्नोलॉजी है।
