About today’s Guest, Shri Raaj Kumar Anand
Hon'ble minister Raaj Kumar Anand holds multiple portfolios in the Delhi Cabinet which include Social Welfare, SC and ST, Gurudwara Elections, and Registrar of Cooperative Societies. He represents Delhi's Patel Nagar assembly constituency, from where he was elected as an MLA in 2020 and went on to join the Delhi Cabinet in November 2022. Mr. Anand's contribution in the field of social service has been commendable. He, along with some of his colleagues, formed the 'Anandpath Path Foundation' for the betterment of the underprivileged people. Under this initiative, many tuition centres were also started in slum areas with the name of 'Dr. Ambedkar Pathshala'. To make loan process hassle free for underprivileged, he created another organization SCOTIC, which basically helps in getting loans by establishing a dialogue between the bank and the borrowers. Stepping into politics Mr. Anand actively participated in the movement 'India Against Corruption' in 2011, where he was greatly influenced by Shri Arvind Kejriwal and his vision, "If politics changes, the country will change.” Further, he joined Aam Aadmi Party to be a part of positive politics.
From making pillows by using discarded foam from factories to becoming a successful businessman in Rexine Leather and venturing into Indian politics, Mr Anand’s journey is one to take inspiration from.

दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी के पटेल नगर से उम्मीदवार राजकुमार आनंद ने बाईक और ई-रिक्शा रैली निकालते हुए अरविंद केजरीवाल और आम जनता को टिकट मिलने पर धन्यवाद किया। बता दें कि पटेल नगर से मौजूदा विधायक हजारी लाल चौहान का टिकट काट कर राजकुमार आनंद को दिया गया है क्योंकि लोगों की शिकायत थी कि इलाके के MLA लोगों के बीच कभी भी नहीं जाते थे। रैली में सैकड़ों कार्यकर्ताओं ने बाईक और ई -रिक्शा से पूरे विधानसभा में घूमते हुए वोटरों से जुड़ने की कोशिश की।
