श्रीनगर। जम्मू-कश्मीर में स्थित 200 साल पुराना एक अस्थायी डाकघर इन दिनों पर्यटकों के आकर्षण का केंद्र बना हुआ है। माना जाता है कि जम्मू-कश्मीर का यह डाकघर भारत में अपनी तरह का एकमात्र ऐसा कार्यालय है, जो पानी पर डाक सेवाएं प्रदान करता है।कश्मीर में सुंदर डल झील पर बर्फ से ढके पहाड़ों के पास एक विशाल हाउसबोट में स्थापित, कश्मीर का एकमात्र अस्थायी डाकघर वर्षों से लोगों को आकर्षित कर रहा है। 200 साल पुराना यह डाकघर भारत में ब्रिटिश शासन के दौरान अस्तित्व में आया और 2011 में अधिक लोगों को आकर्षित करने के लिए इसे एक नया रूप दिया गया। नाव को लकड़ी की कलाकारी से सजाया गया है ताकि इसे दीवार पर तय किए गए रोमांटिक कश्मीरी कवि मेहजूर की तस्वीर के साथ पारंपरिक रूप दिया जा सके। अधिकारी की माने तो डाकघर उन पर्यटकों के बीच लोकप्रिय है जो डल झील घूमने आते हैं।

सर्द हवाओं से जहां पूरा जम्मू कश्मीर ठिठुर रहा है तो वहीं विश्व की मसहूर डल झील में भी सर्द हवाओं से पानी जमना शुरू हो गया है।
...दरअसल डल लेक की ऊपरी परत हल्के तौर पर जम गई है। वहीं धुंध और ठंडी हवाओं की वजह से लोगों को अलाव जलाकर खुद को गर्म रखने की जरूरत पड़ रही है। मौसम अधिकारियों की मानें तो कश्मीर घाटी में सर्दियों के सबसे ठंडे मौसम चिल्लें कलां का आगाज आज से शुरु हो गया है। हालांकि अभी तक हिमपात नहीं हुआ है, लेकिन वादी में न्यूनतम तापमान -6.5 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक चला गया है। इसके अलावा सोमवार की बीती रात सबसे ठंडी रात थी। - 5.5 डिग्री सेल्सियस रिकॉर्ड किया गया तो वहीं पहाड़ी इलाके लेह में - 14 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा। कुल मिलाकर सोमवार की रात इस मौसम की सबसे सर्द रात रही। न्यूनतम तापमान के लगातार गिरने से वादी के सभी जलस्रोत जमने लगे हैं। आलम यह है कि नदी, नालों और झीलों के किनारों पर पानी की सतह पर लगातार बर्फ बनती जा रही है। आपको बता दें कि कश्मीर घाटी में सर्दियों के मौसम को तीन हिस्सों में बांटा जाता है। सबसे शुरू के 40 दिन के मौसम को चिल्ले कलां कहा जाता है। इसके बाद चिल्ले बाईच और चिल्ले खुर्द का मौसम आता है। हालांकि चिल्ले कलां के दौरान वादी में सबसे ज्यादा हिमपात होता रहा है, जिसमें बीते कुछ सालों के दौरान कमी देखी गई है। इसके साथ ही धूप कम निकलती है और जब निकली है तो उसकी तपिश बहुत कम होती
