गाज़ीपुर। जहाँ अतिप्राचीन रामलीला कमेटी द्वारा आयोजित दशहरा कोरोना प्रोटोकाल के तहत मानाया गया, कोरोना महामारी के चलते इस बार विजयादशमी पर जिला मुख्यालय के लंका मैदान में रावण के पुतले का दहन राम रावण युद्ध के मंचन के बाद किया गया, इस दौरान गाज़ीपुर जिलाधिकारी एमपी सिंह और पुलिस अधीक्षक रामबदन सिंह, भारी पुलिस बल के साथ उपस्थित रहे, पहले से तय कार्यक्रमानुसार शाम् को दशमी की बेला में डीएम के हाथों रावण का दहन परम्परानुसार हुआ। इस दौरान डीएम ने एमपी सिंह ने कहा कि आज पावन पर्व विजयदशमी के अवसर पर सर्वप्रथम जनपद के सभी जनपद वासियों को हार्दिक बधाई और ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं देता और प्रार्थना करता हूं कि जनपद गाजीपुर में सुखी रहे समृद्ध रहे और सदैव अपने विकास पथ पर अग्रसर होते रहे आज का यह त्यौहार बुराई पर अच्छाई का और सत्य पर असत्य का प्रतीक है लोगों से प्रार्थना है कि लोग मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम राम जी के सत्य कर्मों से और उनके जीवन आचरण से सीख ले और हमेशा अच्छे कार्य करें और बुराई पर अच्छाई का यह त्यौहार हमेशा मनाते रहे
वहीं सुरक्षा सुरक्षा को लेकर गाज़ीपुर एसपी राम बदन सिंह ने कहा कि यह अति प्राचीन रामलीला कमेटी है और सैकड़ों वर्षो से यहां रावण दहन का प्रोग्राम होता रहा है आज देख करके थोड़ा सा कष्ट हुआ कि कोरोना की वजह से मिलो अंदर नहीं आ सके क्योंकि सबको सुरक्षित रहने का और अपने आप को बचाना है पूरे देश को बचाना है और उसी के तहत यह पूरा कार्यक्रम संपन्न किया गया है और इसके लिए लोगों से मैं क्षमा भी चाहता हूं कि कुछ लोगों को कष्ट भी हुआ कि हम लोग अंदर नहीं आ पाए हैं लेकिन यह कोरोना के चलते सब करना पड़ा है फिर भी जनता को मैं बहुत-बहुत बधाई दूंगा कि उन्होंने बड़े धैर्य से ही हमारा साथ दिया जिससे प्रोग्राम सकुशल संपन्न हो सका है

यूपी के कौशाम्बी जिले के दारानगर में अनोखे तरीके से दशहरा पर्व मनाया जाता है। ये परंपपरा पिछले 242 वर्ष से लगातार चली आ रही है। विजया दशमी व एकादशी के दिन राम सेना व रावण सेना के बीच सजीव युद्ध होता है। दोनों दलों के बीच हो रहे कुप्पी युद्ध की वजह से दारानगर की छाप पूरे में प्रदेश में हैं। इसे देखने के लिए गैर जनपद के लोग भी पहुंचते हैं।सिराथू तहसील क्षेत्र की नगर पंचायत दारानगर की रामलीला का अलग ही महत्व है। यहां पर 242 वर्ष पूर्व गांव के लोगों ने रामलीला के मंचन व कुप्पी युद्ध शुरू कराया था। जो दो दशक के बाद भी लगातार चलता आ रहा है। रामलीला कमेटी के अध्यक्ष आद्या प्रसाद पांडेय ने बताया कि कुप्पी युद्ध म्योहरा गांव के मैदान में कराया जाएगा। दो दिवसीय कुप्पी युद्ध विजयादशमी के दिन तीन चक्रों में तथा एकादशी के दिन चार चक्रों में राम व रावण सेना के बीच युद्ध होता है। प्रत्येक चक्र में 10 मिनट तक लड़ाई होती है और इस दौरान दोनों दल से 20-20 सदस्य शामिल होते है। रणभूमि में राम दल की सेना लाल वस्त्र धारण करती है और रावण दल की सेना काला वस्त्र धारण करती है। युद्ध में पांच संचालक होते है। जिनकी सीटी बजते ही दोनों दलों के लोग एक-दूसरे पर प्लास्टिक की कुप्पी से मार करने लगते है। पूर्व में यह कुप्पी युद्ध ऊंट की खाल से बनी कुप्पी से होता था,परंतु अब यह प्लास्टिक की कुप्पी से किया जाता है।युद्ध का विराम सीटी बजने के साथ होता है। यहां पर हिदू व मुस्लिम दोनों समुदाय के लोग उपस्थित होते है और यह ऐतिहासिक दशहरा आपसी सौहार्द व भाई चारा के साथ मनाया जाता है।
