सिद्धार्थनगर जिले में 3 मार्च को मतदान के बाद काफी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के बीच मुख्यालय स्थित नवीन मंडी परिसर में स्ट्रांग रूम बनाकर ईवीएम को रखा गया है। इन ईवीएम की निगरानी 3 लेयर में की जा रही है साथ से सीसी टीवी से भी बराबर नज़र बनी हुई है। प्रशासन का दावा है कि परिसर में कोई भी नहीं घुस सकता और ना ही सील की हुई ईवीएम से किसी तरह की कोई छेड़छाड़ की गुंजाइश है। बावजूद इसके सपा के उम्मीदवार नवीन प नवीन मंडी परिसर के बाहर टेंट लगाकर ईवीएम की निगरानी कर रहे हैं । सपा समर्थक शिफ्ट वाइज़ लगातार यहां ड्यूटी देकर गेट के साथ-साथ अंदर परिसर पर भी बराबर निगाह बनाए हुए हैं। निगरानी के लिए सपा कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा बनाए गए पंडाल में लोगों से मिलने आये कपिलवस्तु विधानसभा से सपा प्रत्याशी पूर्व विधायक विजय पासवान ने कहा कि यहां पर लगातार सपा के लोग ईवीएम की निगरानी को लेकर पहरा दे रहे हैं। उन्होंने आशंका जताई कि ईवीएम के साथ प्रशासन से मिलकर भाजपा के लोग छेड़छाड़ कर सकते हैं। जनता ने उन्हें नकार दिया है इसलिए वह लोग किसी भी स्तर पर जाकर कुछ भी कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सिर्फ सपा के नेता ही नहीं बल्कि स्थानीय जनता भी इस बात से सशंकित है । यहां पर निगरानी जनता के कहने ही पर की जा रही है।
