वज़ीर पुर विधान सभा में दिल्ली प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष अजय माकन ने पूर्व विधायक हरि शंकर गुप्ता के साथ दिल्ली नगर निगम चुनाव के तीन प्रत्याशियों के चुनाव कार्यालयों का उद्घाटन किया --सबसे पहले अशोक विहार वार्ड के प्रत्याशी अशोक बसोया के चुनाव कार्यालय का समय था --अशोक बसोया छात्र नेता रहे है , अजय माकन तय समय से काफी देर से पहुंचे बावजूद इससे कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ता और नेताओं का उत्साह बरकरार दिखा --यही हाल निमारी वार्ड की प्रत्याशी सोनिया के चुनाव कार्यालय में दिखा --देशभक्ति के गीतों में कांग्रेस का झंडा घंटों लहराते रहे --( शॉट्स ) अजय माकन निमारी वारद पहुंचे तो नजर कुछ ऐसा था ---( नारबाजी के शॉट्स ) अजय माकन की मौजूदगी में आम आदमी पार्टी के कई स्थानीय नेता भी कांग्रेस में शामिल हुए --इस मौके पर अजय ने कांग्रेस कार्यकतओं से कहा की यह चुनाव उनके लिए बहुत महत्त्व पूर्ण है --बीजेपी के भ्र्ष्टाचार को जनता के सामने ले जाएं
अजय माकन के साथ वज़ीर पुर के पूर्व विधायक और वरिष्ठ नेता हरि शंकर गुप्ता भी मौजूद थे --वज़ीर पुर में चुनाव हरि शंकर गुप्ता के नेर्तत्व में लड़ा जा रहा है --हरि शंकर गुप्ता की कहा की दिल्ली मन बना चुकी है की वह तीनो नगर निगम में कांग्रेस को सत्ता सौपना चाहती है
