Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. As per #Twitter an account with a "blue tick" verification badge indicates "we've been in contact with the person or entity the account is representing and verified that it is approved". Social media posting and results are not real but most of them are machine generated by tweaking the algorithm.
All it seems, the $44 billion Twitter deal may have been too expensive for the world’s richest man himself, let’s take a look at why the Chief of Twitter is hard selling the blue tick like a salesperson. But don’t worry, the fact is, it is all a planned strategy by all the leading social media giants including Facebook, Instagram parent Meta who have begun selling paid blue ticks.
Micro-influencers (accounts with one thousand to ten thousand followers earn on average $1,420 per month, and mega-influencers (accounts with over one million followers) earn about $15,356 per month.
Usually, Twitter users like celebrities, politicians, academicians, government institutions, journalists and so on, apply for Twitter verification to get the blue tick. While the criteria vary from one account type to the other, the final blue badge is only delivered after Twitter’s team approves it.
Facebook-parent Meta has launched a subscription service, called Meta Verified, that will allow users to add the coveted blue check mark to their Instagram and Facebook accounts for up to $15 a month by verifying their identity, It will be a new revenue channel that has returned mixed success for its smaller rival Twitter.
It is a well-planned strategy of most of the Social media companies to start charging their services. So far they have been collecting, correlating and augmenting the information, which they were getting posted in their portal.

Since last year, the COVID-19 pandemic changed the way India and the world lived, shopped, conducted business, socialised, and even litigated. As per a survey, during the H2 of 2020, the average Indian data consumption per month, the highest globally, is about 12 GB. It is likely to rise further to about 25 GB per month in the next five years, driven by affordable mobile broadband services, changing video viewing habits majorly due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
In the realm of the country’s technological innovations, 5G will further strengthen Digital India, Smart Cities and Smart Village missions for India. Smart cities could use 5G for automotive safety, infrastructure, VR, and entertainment. In domestic use, 5G would change home internet service by providing a wireless modem alternative to existing wires. The survey finds that the total number of mobile broadband subscriptions is set to exceed 1 billion by 2025. The number of smartphone subscriptions increased to 620 million in 2019 which is expected to grow at a CAGR of 9%, reaching 1 billion by 2025. 5G networks offer to deliver significant social and economic benefits in India. Over the period 2023–2040, the experts forecast that 5G technologies will make a total contribution of approximately 450 billion dollars to the Indian economy -- 0.6% of GDP—by 2040.
