Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. (born 20 May 1983), also known as Jr. N.T.R or Tarak, is an Indian film actor, Kuchipudi dancer, playback singer and television personality known for his works in Telugu cinema. He is the grandson of Telugu actor N. T. Rama Rao, who was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and who was commonly referred to as "NTR". In 1996, he starred as a child artist in Ramayanam, which won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film for that year. His debut as an adult was in 2000 with the film Ninnu Choodalani. In his film career spanning 18 years, Rao has worked in 28 films. He has received two state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Awards and four CineMAA Awards.
He received critical reception for his performance in works such as Student No.1 (2001), Aadi (2002), Simhadri (2003), Yamadonga (2007), Brindavanam (2010 film) (2010), Temper (2015), Nannaku Prematho (2016), Janatha Garage (2016) and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018). He was ranked 27th in Forbes India Celebrity 100 list in 2012 with an annual income of ₹190 million (US$3.042 Million) and 55th in 2016 with an annual income of ₹360 million.

If you were to read the comments, you’d think Mahesh fans are heaping praises on their star and saying he’s better than Tom Cruise. That he’s the real action star. That he’s just better in every way.

But look a little closer, at the commenters’ profiles perhaps, and you’ll realise that what’s happening here is a whole other ballgame.
The majority of fans people praising Mahesh are actually … trolling him. Because, no points for guessing, they are Junior NTR fans! And this is their idea of sarcasm, we suppose.

While Aravinda Sametha was in the midst of the second shoot, LA Telugu of USA Distributors bagged the rights of the film. If you didn't know already, the same LA Telugu had bought the rights of Pawan Kalyan's Agnyathavaasi. As it turned out, the film failed miserably at the box office. Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi and NTR's Aravinda Sametha's are directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Looks like, LA Telugu could expect some profits from Aravinda Sametha and turn the director's fortunes around. However, the proof of the pudding is in the eating and we will know once the film opens in theatres.
Going by a tweet from celebrated trade analyst and industry tracker, Umair Sandhu, Indian distributors are competing to purchase the rights of Aravinda Sametha. As of now, no big ticket films have lined up for release in the second quarter of 2018. NTR's Aravinda Sametha therefore, has a strong chance of hitting it big at the box office. SS Rajamouli‘s last film, the Baahubali series, was a phenomenal success. Since then everyone had been waiting with bated breath to know what the filmmaker is planning to do next. Well, for his next film, he has zeroed in on Junior NTR and Ramcharan to play the lead actors. He is now in hunt for the leading lady. Earlier, there was a buzz doing the rounds that he was on the lookout for a Bollywood actress to play the lead actress in the film, but now reports suggest that the filmmaker is planning on roping in Telugu industry’s number one actress, Samantha Akkineni. The actress has already worked with this team before, which means she already shares a great equation with everyone. To top it all she worked with Rajamouli in Eega, which was a huge hit. So, to say that this film will follow suit, won’t be a gross exaggeration.

Jr NTR’s publicist Mahesh S Koneru had tweeted: “This action sequence is going to be one of a kind .. something not seen in Telugu Cinema until now in terms of scale and execution... and @tarak9999 shot for this in 43 degree Celsius heat .. #AravindhaSamethaFirstLook indicating all the hard work the star had put into it.
A knife-wielding Jr NTR, flaunting off his 6-pack abs, with blood-stained trousers is enough to catch the attention of the film buffs. The shooting of this flick is currently in progress and is expected to be wrapped by August this year. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas with whom Jr NTR is associating for the first time, the film has Pooja Hegde pairing up with the hero. S Thaman is composing music for Aravindha Sametha.
It may be noted here that there were rumours a few days ago that the film has been titled Asamanyudu keeping in line with his penchant for titles beginning with A. However, this has now proved to be true with the director finally deciding on Aravindha Sametha.
