રાજનેતાઓ કામ કરે તેના કરતા તેનો પ્રચાર વધુ કરે છે. રાજનેતા માને છે કે તેમણે પ્રજા માટે જે કર્યું તે પ્રજા ઉપર ઉપકાર કર્યો છે. ક્યારેક આવું કરવામાં કાયદાનું પણ ભાન રહેતું નથી. ગત વર્ષે સુરતના ભાજપના મહિલા સાંસદ દર્શના જરદોશ તાપી નદી કિનારે ચાલતા સફાઈ ઝૂંબેશની કાર્યવાહીમાં ભાગ લેવા પહોંચી ગયા, જ્યાં તેમણે સફાઈ કામગીરી કરી રહેલા એક JCB મશીનની ડ્રાઈવિંગ સીટ ઉપર બેસી પ્રતિકાત્મક કામ કર્યું હતું. આ ઘટનાનો વીડિયો ત્યારે પણ વાયરલ થયો હતો અને ખુદ જરદોશે પોતે પણ તે ઘટના ટ્વીટ કરી હતી. પરંતુ આ મામલે એક નાગરિકે પોલીસ સમક્ષ સતત ફરિયાદ કરતા સુરત પોલીસે થાકીને સાંસદ જરદોશને લાઈસન્સ વગર JCB ચલાવવાના આરોપસર રૂપિયા 500નો દંડ કર્યો હતો.
તા 4 મે 2018ના રોજ સુરતની તાપી નદીના કિનારે સફાઈની કામગીરી ચાલી રહી હતી, આ કામગીરીમાં પોતાનું પણ યોગદાન છે, તેવું બતાડવા માટે અનેક નેતાઓ પહોંચી ગયા હતા, કારણ કે વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદી સફાઈના હિમાયતી હોવાને કારણે દરેક નેતાઓ પોતાની આ કામગીરીની વડાપ્રધાન નોંધ લે તેવા પ્રયાસ કરે છે. આ ઝૂંબેશ દરમિયાન ત્યાં પહોચેલા સાંસદ દર્શના જરદોશ કચરો અને કાટમાળ ઉપાડી રહેલા JCBના ડ્રાઈવરને નીચે ઉતારી પોતે JCB મશીન ચલાવી કચરો ઉપાડ્યો હતો, આ ઘટના કચકડે પણ કંડારાઈ હતી.
આ મામલે સુરતના એક નાગરિક સંજય ઈઝાવા દ્વારા સુરત પોલીસ કમિશનરને ફરિયાદ કરી આ ઘટનામાં કાર્યવાહી કરવાની માગણી કરતા પોલીસ તરફથી જવાબ મળ્યો હતો કે સાંસદ દર્શનાએ કામદારોનો ઉત્સાહ વધારવા માટે JCB ચલાવ્યું હતું. આમ ઈઝાવાની અરજી દફ્તરે કરી દેવામાં આવી હતી. જો કે ઈઝાવાને તેનાથી સંતોષ નહીં થતાં તેમણે ફરી કમિશનર સામે ફરિયાદ કરી જરદોશ સામે કાર્યવાહી કરવાની માગણી કરી હતી, પરંતુ ત્યાર બાદ શું કાર્યવાહી થઈ તેનો કોઈ જવાબ મળ્યો ન હતો.
આથી સંજય ઈઝાવાએ RTI કરી પોલીસે જરદોશ સામે કરેલી કાર્યવાહીની જાણકારી માગતા સુરત પોલીસે જવાબ આપ્યો હતો કે દર્શના જરદોશે લાઈસન્સ વગર JCB ચલાવ્યું તેના માટે તેમની પાસે તા 24 ઓગષ્ટના રોજ પાંચસો રૂપિયા દંડ વસૂલ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે, જુઓ આ વીડિયો
