Users now expect to connect from anywhere and on any device, while security teams have the same complex, piecemeal and time-consuming solutions. It is time to rethink security.
The idea is to focus on basic safety protocols, cleanliness, routine sanitisation, and adjusting space density to maintain distance. With agility, innovation, and quick response to customer needs being the strengths, a flexible workspace is an achievable concept for the organizations. A famous research psychologist Dr. Robert Epstein has brought attention to Google’s alarming manipulation of newsfeeds, search results, and YouTube suggestions. Despite the focus on Twitter & Facebook’s censorship and biases, Google, the worst offender among Big Tech giants, has managed to evade scrutiny, but now it seems the tech giant has set its sights on our children.
Google has been accused of manipulating search results in a number of ways, including:
Ranking websites that pay for advertising higher in search results.
Personalizing search results based on a user's search history and other personal information.
Showing sponsored results at the top of search results pages. Sponsored results are paid for by advertisers, and they are often designed to look like organic search results.
In 2019, the European Union fined Google 4.34 billion Euros for manipulating search results in favour of its own shopping comparison service. This was the largest antitrust fine ever imposed in the European Union.
In a recent blog post Dr. Epstein has shared his latest research, shedding light on Google’s ability to shape public opinion and influence elections to align with its liberal corporate worldview.

Hybrid work has various interpretations
Remote working varies considerably around the world depending on IT adoption, culture and mix of industries. In 2022, 31% of all workers worldwide will be remote (a mix of hybrid and fully remote). By the end of 2021, 51% of all knowledge workers worldwide are expected to be working remotely, up from 27% of knowledge workers in 2019, according to Gartner. The research firm also estimates that remote workers will represent 32% of all employees worldwide by the end of 2021. This is up from 17% of employees in 2019. A hybrid workforce is the future of the work, with both remote and on-site part of the same solution to optimize employers' workforce needs.
India and China will produce some of the largest numbers of remote workers, but their overall penetration rates will remain relatively low with 30% of workers in India being remote and 28% of workers in China working remote, according to Gartner. Digital products and services will play a big role in these digital transformation efforts. This longer strategic plan requires continued investment in strategic remote-first technology continuity implementations along with new technologies such as hyper automation, AI and collaboration technologies to open up more flexibility of location choice in job roles, Gartner said. A hybrid workforce will continue to increase the demand for PCs and tablets. In 2021, PC and tablet shipments will exceed 500 million units for the first time in history, highlighting the demand across both business and consumer markets.

भारत में बैटलग्राउंड्स मोबाइल इंडिया और Garena Free Fire जैसे बैटल रॉयल गेम्स की मुश्किलें बढ़ने वाली हैं। हाल ही में PUBG Mobile के भारतीय वर्जन के तौर पर बैटलग्राउंड्स मोबाइल इंडिया या BGMI को देश में लॉन्च किया गया था। लेकिन अब एक बार फिर BGMI के साथ-साथ Free Fire पर भी बैन करने की मांग उठने लगी है। इस संबंध में एडीजे नरेश कुमार लाका ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को एक पत्र है। इसमें उन्होंने पीएम मोदी को देश में BGMI और Free Fire जैसे गेम्स पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का आग्रह किया है। उनके अनुसार ये बैटल रॉयल गेम्स बच्चों पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव डालते हैं।
