इस मामले के बाद मेडिकल थाने के गेट पर एक पोस्टर लगा दिया गया. जिस पर लिखा था- 'भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं का थाने में आना मना है.' इसके नीचे थानेदार का नाम भी छपा है. ये पोस्टर सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है. पुलिस अधिकारी का कहना है कि इस मामले की जांच की जा रही है, जिसने पोस्टर लगाया है, उनके खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी. बैनर लगाने वालों को पुलिस वीडियो फुटेज के आधार पर चिह्नित कर रही है.
दरअसल, यह मामला पूजा नाम की महिला से जुड़ा है. महिला का आरोप है कि सात महीने पहले उसके पति की मौत हो गई थी. उसके दो बच्चे हैं. उसके पति की एक दुकान थी, जिस पर उसके देवर ने कब्जा कर लिया. दुकान को खाली करने के लिए पुलिस के पास आई थी, लेकिन पुलिस ने उसके साथ अभद्रता कर दी. इसके बाद महिला के समर्थन में थाने में भीड़ जमा हो गई. बीजेपी के युवा मोर्चा के पूर्व जिला मंत्री कुलदीप ने कहा कि महिला के पति के देहांत के बाद उसकी दुकान महिला के नाम आ गई थी. उस पर कब्जा हो गया है. उसकी दुकान दिलाने के लिए थाने पर पहुंचे थे, लेकिन थाने में अभद्रता की गई. सिविल ड्रेस में सिपाहियों ने धक्का-मुक्की की.
मेरठ के SP सिटी विनीत भटनागर ने कहा कि थाना मेडिकल में कुछ व्यक्ति प्रॉपर्टी खाली कराने का अनुचित दबाव बना रहे थे. मानवता के नाते दोनों पक्षों की वार्ता भी कराई गई. पुलिस के द्वारा किसी का कब्जा नहीं हटाया जा सकता. दबाव बनाने के लिए भीड़ जमा की गई. धरना प्रदर्शन भी किया. उन्होंने कहा कि यह भी जानकारी में आया है कि यही व्यक्ति पोस्टर लेकर आए, जिसमें एक खास राजनीतिक दल का नाम लिखते हुए थाने में लगा दिया.

उत्तर प्रदेश के कार्यवाहक मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने प्रदेश के प्रमुख नेताओं के साथ राज्य में नई सरकार के गठन को लेकर केंद्रीय नेतृत्व के साथ बैठक की है। बैठक में मंत्रियों के नामों और एमएलसी चुनाव के लिए उम्मीदवारों को लेकर भी चर्चा हुई है। राज्य में होली के बाद नई सरकार का गठन किया जाएगा। नए मुख्यमंत्री के साथ बड़े आकार वाला मंत्रिमंडल भी शपथ ग्रहण करेगा।भाजपा मुख्यालय में पार्टी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा और महासचिव संगठन बी एल संतोष व चुनाव प्रभारी धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के साथ बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ, केशव प्रसाद मौर्य, स्वतंत्र देव सिंह, सुनील बंसल एवं अन्य नेता मौजूद रहे। सूत्रों के अनुसार, बैठक में राज्य में नई सरकार के गठन में सामाजिक समीकरण एवं सभी वर्गों को प्रतिनिधित्व देने के अलावा युवा एवं महिलाओं को ज्यादा स्थान देने के मुद्दे पर मंथन किया गया है।
सूत्रों के अनुसार, पार्टी की कोशिश है कि नई सरकार में विभिन्न सामाजिक वर्गों का प्रतिनिधित्व हो साथ ही जिन वर्गों का उसे विशेष समर्थन मिला है, उनका भी ख्याल रखा जाए और उन्हें पूरा सम्मान देते हुए मंत्रिमंडल में प्रतिनिधित्व दिया जाए।नए चेहरों को आगे लाने की कोशिश होगी: पार्टी नए चेहरों को आगे लाने के साथ विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के बीच संतुलन साधने की भी कोशिश करेगी। इसके अलावा 2024 के लोकसभा चुनावों की रणनीति के अनुसार कामकाज को आगे बढ़ाने जैसे मुद्दों पर चर्चा की गई है। साथ ही इस बात पर भी विचार किया गया कि आगामी संसदीय चुनाव में जातिगत समीकरणों का पूरी तरह से संतुलन बना रहे।
