സ്വകാര്യ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള കാറുകള്ക്ക് 2018ല് നിയന്ത്രണം ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തും
വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം വര്ദ്ധിച്ചതോടെ കാറുകള്ക്ക് നിയന്ത്രണം ഏര്പ്പെടുത്താനൊരുങ്ങി സിംഗപ്പൂര്. അടുത്തവര്ഷം തന്നെ സ്വകാര്യ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള കാറുകള്ക്ക് രാജ്യത്ത് നിയന്ത്രണം ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തും.
രാജ്യത്തെ വാഹനപ്പെരുപ്പം പൂജ്യത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. തീരുമാനം നടപ്പിലാകുന്നതോടെ സിംഗപ്പൂരില് കാര് സ്വന്തമാക്കുകയെന്നത് ഏറെ പ്രയാസമേറിയ ഒന്നാകും. റോയിട്ടേഴ്സ് നല്കുന്ന സൂചനകളനുസരിച്ച് ഒരു മധ്യനിരവാഹനം സ്വന്തമാക്കുന്നതിന് അതിന്റെ നാലിരട്ടി വില നല്കേണ്ടി വരും. നിയന്ത്രണം എത്രകാലത്തേക്ക് എന്നത് വ്യക്തമല്ല.
എന്നാല് ബസ്സുകളും,ഗുഡ്സ് വാഹനങ്ങള്ക്കും പുതിയ ഉത്തരവ് ബാധകമല്ല.

സാമൂഹ്യമാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെ വിദ്വേഷം പരത്തുകയോ, ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്താല് ഇനി കടുത്ത ശിക്ഷ. ഇതിനായി നിയമഭേതഗതി വരുത്താന് ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രാലയം നിയോഗിച്ച സമിതി ശുപാര്ശ ചെയ്തു.
ഇന്ത്യന് ശിക്ഷാ നിയമം (ഐപിസി), ക്രിമിനല് നടപടി ചട്ടം (സിആര്പിസി), വിവരസാങ്കേതികവിദ്യാ (ഐടി) നിയമം എന്നിവയാണ് ഭേതഗതി ചെയ്യുക. – മതം, വര്ണം, ജാതി, സമുദായം, ലിംഗം, ഭാഷ, താമസസ്ഥലം തുടങ്ങിവയുടെ പേരില് വ്യക്തികളെയോ സംഘങ്ങളെയോ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുമെന്നു ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുക, വ്യക്തികള്ക്കോ സംഘങ്ങള്ക്കോ എതിരെ കുറ്റകൃത്യത്തിനു പ്രേരകമാകുന്ന രീതിയില് വിദ്വേഷം പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുക തുടങ്ങിയവക്ക് രണ്ടുവര്ഷം വരെ തടവും 50,000 രൂപവരെ പിഴയും ശുപാര്ശ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
