The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday released the list of Indian cricketers' central contracts and grades in which many names were present but Mohammed Shami was not given any place in any grade. But if the woman related to this case is met with the Police Commissioner in Kolkata, then it would be prudent for BCCI to wait for some kind of official investigation.

He said, "Hence the name of Mohammed Shami has been removed from the central contract list issued today. We would like to repeat again that this decision has nothing to do with Shami as a player, but it has been taken in the present circumstances for the defense. "It is believed that BCCI is concerned that if Shami If the charges imposed are proved right then the image of the board may be bad.
