നീണ്ട കാത്തിരിപ്പിനൊടുവില് പുറത്തെടുത്ത ഐഫോണ് പ്രോ മോഡലുകളുടെ മൂന്നു ക്യാമറകള് അടുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത് അത്യന്തം അസ്വസ്ഥമാക്കുന്ന രീതിയിലാണെന്ന് വാര്ത്തകള് പടരുകയാണ്. പ്രോ മോഡലുകളുടെ മുഖ്യാകര്ഷണവും മുഖമുദ്രയും അവയുടെ മൂന്നു ക്യാമറകളാണ്. ഇതാദ്യമല്ല ഒരു കമ്പനി മൂന്നോ അതിലേറെയോ ക്യാമറകളുള്ള ഫോണുകളുമായി എത്തുന്നത്. മറ്റൊരു ഫോണിനെക്കുറിച്ചും പറയാത്ത പരാതിയാണ് ഐഫോണ് പ്രോ മോഡലുകളെക്കുറിച്ച് ലോകത്തിന്റെ പല ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നും ഉയരുന്നത്. അവയ്ക്ക് ട്രൈപോഫോബിയ ഉണ്ടെന്നാണ് പലരും ട്വിറ്ററില് പങ്കുവയ്ക്കുന്ന അഭിപ്രായം.
എന്താണ് ട്രൈപോഫോബിയ (Trypophobia)? അധികം പറഞ്ഞു കേള്ക്കാത്ത ഈ വാക്കിന് അര്ഥം ക്രമമായി അല്ലാതെ പിടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന എന്തിന്റെയെങ്കിലും കൂട്ടത്തിനെയാണ് ഇങ്ങനെ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ക്രമരഹിതമായ ദ്വാരങ്ങളും തടിപ്പുകളുമൊക്കെ ഈ ഗണത്തില് പെടുത്താം. ഇത്തരം ഭാഗങ്ങളുടെ കാഴ്ച ചിലരെ അസ്വസ്ഥരാക്കും. ഇതിനെയാണ് ട്രൈപോഫോബിയ എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നത്. കടന്നല്ക്കൂട്, തേനീച്ചക്കൂട് തുടങ്ങിയവയെ ഈ ഗണത്തില് പെടുത്താറുണ്ട്. സമൂഹ മാധ്യമങ്ങളില് എന്തായാലും ഐഫോണ് പ്രോ മോഡലുകളുടെ മൂന്നു ക്യാമറകളുടെ ചിത്രത്തെ നോക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നവരെ അസ്വസ്ഥരാക്കുന്നു എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നവര് വര്ധിക്കുകയാണ്.
പ്രോ മോഡലുകളിലെ മൂന്നു ലെന്സുകള് വളരെ അടുത്താണിരിക്കുന്നത്. ട്രൈപോഫോബിയ രോഗികളെ അത്തരം കാഴ്ചകള് അസ്വസ്ഥരാക്കും. അമിത ഉത്കണ്ഠ (panic attack), തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രശ്നങ്ങള് ഇത്തരക്കാരില് ഉണ്ടാക്കുമെന്ന് പഠനങ്ങള് പറയുന്നു. എന്തായാലും ആപ്പിളിന്റെ ഐഫോണ് പ്രോമോഡലുകളുടെ ക്യാമറകള് ദ്വാരങ്ങളെ ഓര്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നാണ് പൊതുവെ പറയുന്നത്. മറ്റു പല കമ്പനികളും ചെയ്തതു പോലെ ഒരേ നിരയില് തന്നെ ക്യാമറകള് പിടിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില് പ്രശ്നമുണ്ടാവില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് ചിലര് പറയുന്നത്
മൂന്നു ക്യാമറകളുമായി ഒരു വര്ഷം മുൻപിറങ്ങിയ വാവെയുടെ മെയ്റ്റ് 20 പ്രോയുടെ ക്യാമറ ക്രമീകരണം പകർത്തിയാണ് ആപ്പിള് തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രോ മോഡലുകളില് ഉപയോഗിച്ചരിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന ആരോപണം കേട്ടിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് വാവെയുടെ ക്രമീകരണം വേറെ രീതിയിലാണ്.
