Shri Jayendra Saraswati, 69th monastery of Kachee Sankara Math, was displaced due to heart failure in the morning. 83 year old saint Jayendra Saraswati, a senior Acharya of Math, complained of breathing trouble at eight in the morning. He was rushed to ABC Hospital where he died after heart failure at 9 p.m.
Jayendra Saraswati was unwell for some time. In the last few months, he had to be hospitalized several times. Confirming the death of Shankaracharya on the official website of Math, it was said that 69th Acharya Jagadguru Jayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamelling of Shri Kanchi Kamkoti Pitham received the achievement of Shukla Triodashi (28th February, 2018) at 9 p.m. on Wednesday morning.

Math officials said that the body of Shankaracharya Saraswati will be kept in the monastery till Thursday morning for the devotees' philosophy and prayer. In the monastery at Nandavanam, at 8 o'clock in the morning, Jayendra Saraswati will be the Vrindavan Admission Program (Mahasamadhi) near the grave of his Guru Chandrasekhendra Saraswati Swamigal.
