Ashlee Simpson kills it on the red carpet, but her everyday style is just as amazing-hints why this star catches the title for outfit of the day!

Ashlee stepped out in Sydney with her gal pal, Minka Kelly for a little shopping extravaganza in a super fun ensemble.

She started with some sexy leather pants-which you can find from Blank NYC for $95.00. These are faux leather-keeping them on the budget side, plus you can dress these up for spring for a trendy look that's not too hot.

For the base shirt-Ashley sported a grey t with holes to dress the look down, and to get this part of the look, I like this Alexander Wang Grey Tee for $38.00. It runs a little bit pricier for a tee, but it's definitely a piece you can wear with more than just this outfit!

And for the leopard sweater-which is my favorite part of this outfit, I found this purple version from Blu Moon for $137.00. The purple gives that same pop of color and the fit is lose and comfy just like Ashley's which is a perfect day time look.
