। मतदाता जागरूकता को लेकर जिलाधिकारी भी रात दिन एक कर रहे हैं जिससे कि मतदाताओं में जागरूकता आए। जिलाधिकारी अभय सिंह ने डोर टू डोर जाकर दुकानदारों से और वहां उपस्थित लोगों से मतदान करने की अपील की. साथ ही कहा कि प्रशासन द्वारा पूर्ण व्यवस्था है, आप सभी लोग सगे संबंधियों के साथ मतदान वाले दिन मतदान अवश्य करें और दूसरों को भी जागरूक करें। डीएम के साथ एडीएम और अन्य अधिकारी भी इस मुहिम में उनका साथ दे रहे हैं ताकि शत प्रतिशत मतदान हो सके।

बस्ती, पोखरभिटवा कांड के आरोपी दरोगा दीपक सिंह और जांच के दायरे में आए पुलिस व प्रशासन के कर्मचारियों पर शासन की सख्ती के बाद शिकंजा और कस गया है। एसपी हेमराज मीणा को हटाने के बाद तत्कालीन सीओ सिटी गिरिश कुमार सिंह को निलंबित कर दिया गया है। वर्तमान समय में उनका बस्ती जिले से कानपुर स्थानांतरण हो गया था।
उच्चाधिकारियों के निर्देश पर शिकायतकर्ता युवती की तहरीर पर पूर्व मुख्य आरोपी दरोगा दीपक सिंह, उसके भाई दरोगा राजन सिंह, पूर्व कोतवाल रामपाल यादव, पूर्व महिला थाना प्रभारी शीला यादव, दरोगा अभिषेक सिंह, कानूनगो सतीश, हल्का लेखपाल शालिनी सिंह, आरक्षी पवन कुमार कुशवाहा, आलोक कुमार, संजय कुमार, महिला आरक्षी दीक्षा यादव, नीलम सिंह व दो-तीन अज्ञात पुलिस कर्मियों के खिलाफ कोतवाली में मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया गया है।
नवागत एसपी आशीष श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि मुकदमे की जांच सीओ सिटी आलोक प्रसाद को सौंपी गई है। कुशीनगर में एयरपोर्ट से संबंद्ध दरोगा दीपक सिंह और कोतवाल रामपाल यादव को निलंबित किया जा चुका है। मुकदमे की जांच में जो तथ्य सामने आएंगे, उस आधार पर आगे की कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। वहीं एडीजी के निर्देश पर प्रकरण की जांच आईजी रेंज स्तर से रविवार को भी जारी रही। शिकायतकर्ता युवती परिजनों के साथ रविवार को भी आईजी कार्यालय पहुंची थी।
आशिकमिजाज दरोगा दीपक सिंह पर अपने पद और पॉवर के दुरुपयोग की गूंज शासन व राज्य महिला आयोग तक पहुंचने के बाद प्रमुख सचिव गृह स्तर से एडीजी गोरखपुर जोन अखिल कुमार की अगुवाई में गठित स्पेशल जांच टीम शनिवार को जांच करने पोखरभिटवा पहुंची थी। करीब सात घंटे तक टीम ने शिकायतकर्ता युवती के साथ उनके परिजनों व गांव के लोगों से पूछताछ कर बयान दर्ज किया था। कुछ घंटों के भीतर शासन स्तर से एसपी हेमराज मीणा को हटाने का फरमान जारी कर दिया गया था। एडीजी अखिल कुमार स्तर से आरोपी दरोगा दीपक सिंह और कोतवाल रामपाल यादव को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित कर दिया गया था।

नवागत एसपी आशीष श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि मुकदमे की जांच सीओ सिटी आलोक प्रसाद को सौंपी गई है। कुशीनगर में एयरपोर्ट से संबंद्ध दरोगा दीपक सिंह और कोतवाल रामपाल यादव को निलंबित किया जा चुका है। मुकदमे की जांच में जो तथ्य सामने आएंगे, उस आधार पर आगे की कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। वहीं एडीजी के निर्देश पर प्रकरण की जांच आईजी रेंज स्तर से रविवार को भी जारी रही। शिकायतकर्ता युवती परिजनों के साथ रविवार को भी आईजी कार्यालय पहुंची थी।
आशिकमिजाज दरोगा दीपक सिंह पर अपने पद और पॉवर के दुरुपयोग की गूंज शासन व राज्य महिला आयोग तक पहुंचने के बाद प्रमुख सचिव गृह स्तर से एडीजी गोरखपुर जोन अखिल कुमार की अगुवाई में गठित स्पेशल जांच टीम शनिवार को जांच करने पोखरभिटवा पहुंची थी। करीब सात घंटे तक टीम ने शिकायतकर्ता युवती के साथ उनके परिजनों व गांव के लोगों से पूछताछ कर बयान दर्ज किया था। कुछ घंटों के भीतर शासन स्तर से एसपी हेमराज मीणा को हटाने का फरमान जारी कर दिया गया था। एडीजी अखिल कुमार स्तर से आरोपी दरोगा दीपक सिंह और कोतवाल रामपाल यादव को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित कर दिया गया था।
