അധികാരക്കൈമാറ്റം ഒരു വർഷം മുൻപേ ആരംഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. യുഎസ്–ചൈന വ്യാപാരയുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലും ഉലച്ചിൽ തട്ടാതെ പുതിയ മേഖലകൾ കയ്യടക്കി ആലിബാബ മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള കുതിപ്പു തുടരുകയാണ്.
ഇ–കൊമേഴ്സ് രംഗത്തെ ചൈനീസ് അതികായരായ അലിബാബയുടെ സഹസ്ഥാപകനും ഉടമയുമായ ജാക്ക് മാ വിരമിക്കൽ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത് കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം സെപ്റ്റംബറിലാണ്. 1999ൽ അലിബാബ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് അധ്യാപകനായിരുന്നു മാ. തന്റെ വിരമിക്കലിനെ ഒരു യുഗത്തിന്‍റെ തുടക്കമായാണ് ന്യൂയോർക്ക് ടൈംസിന് നൽകിയ അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ മാ അന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചത്. 55–ാം വയസ്സിലാണ് മാ വിരമിച്ചത്.
1999ൽ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളിൽ നിന്നും കടമായി വാങ്ങിയ 60,000 ഡോളർ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് അലിബാബ എന്ന കമ്പനിക്ക് മാ തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചത്. അതിവേഗം തന്നെ ലോകത്തെ തന്നെ വലിയ സാന്നിധ്യങ്ങളിലൊന്നായി കമ്പനി വളർന്നു. ഹാങ്ഷുവിലെ തന്റെ അപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്‍റിലിരുന്നായിരുന്നു അലിബാബയുടെ ആദ്യകാല പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ മാ നിയന്ത്രിച്ചിരുന്നത്. വസ്തുക്കൾ വിൽക്കാനും വാങ്ങാനും ഓൺലൈൻ അനന്ത സാധ്യത ഒരുക്കുന്നതായുള്ള തിരിച്ചറിവായിരുന്നു ഇത്തരമൊരു സംരംഭത്തിലേക്ക് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നയിച്ചത്. ചൈനയിലെ ആയോധനകലയായ തായ് ചിയുടെ ആരാധകനായ മാ ജീവനക്കാർക്കിടയിലും ഉപയോക്താക്കൾക്കിടയിലും ഏ

വിദ്യാഭ്യാസരംഗത്തു കൂടുതൽ സേവനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഈ നീക്കം. മൈക്രോസോഫ്റ്റ് സ്ഥാപകൻ ബിൽ ഗേറ്റ്സിനെപ്പോലെ പുതിയ സ്റ്റാർട്ടപ്പുകളിൽ നിക്ഷേപം നടത്താനും നൂതനവിദ്യാഭ്യാസപദ്ധതികൾ ഏറ്റെടുക്കാനുമൊക്കെയാവും ഇനി ആലിബാബ സ്ഥാപകന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധ.
ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച ജാക്ക് മാ അധ്യക്ഷസ്ഥാനം ഒഴിയുമ്പോൾ അത് ആലിബാബ ഓഹരികളെയും കമ്പനിയുടെ മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള പ്രയാണത്തെയും ഒട്ടും ബാധിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ വലിയ മുൻകരുതലുകളാണ് സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുന്നത്. മൈക്രോസോഫ്റ്റ്, ആപ്പിൾ, യാഹൂ തുടങ്ങിയ കമ്പനികളെയൊക്കെ നായകന്മാരുടെ പടിയിറക്കം ഉലച്ചെങ്കിൽ ആലിബാബയുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ അതുണ്ടാവില്ല എന്നാണ് കരുതുന്നത്.
അധികാരക്കൈമാറ്റം ഒരു വർഷം മുൻപേ ആരംഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. യുഎസ്–ചൈന വ്യാപാരയുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലും ഉലച്ചിൽ തട്ടാതെ പുതിയ മേഖലകൾ കയ്യടക്കി ആലിബാബ മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള കുതിപ്പു തുടരുകയാണ്.
ഇ–കൊമേഴ്സ് രംഗത്തെ ചൈനീസ് അതികായരായ അലിബാബയുടെ സഹസ്ഥാപകനും ഉടമയുമായ ജാക്ക് മാ വിരമിക്കൽ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത് കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം സെപ്റ്റംബറിലാണ്. 1999ൽ അലിബാബ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് അധ്യാപകനായിരുന്നു മാ. തന്റെ വിരമിക്കലിനെ ഒരു യുഗത്തിന്‍റെ തുടക്കമായാണ് ന്യൂയോർക്ക് ടൈംസിന് നൽകിയ അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ മാ അന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചത്. 55–ാം വയസ്സിലാണ് മാ വിരമിച്ചത്.
1999ൽ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളിൽ നിന്നും കടമായി വാങ്ങിയ 60,000 ഡോളർ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് അലിബാബ എന്ന കമ്പനിക്ക് മാ തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചത്. അതിവേഗം തന്നെ ലോകത്തെ തന്നെ വലിയ സാന്നിധ്യങ്ങളിലൊന്നായി കമ്പനി വളർന്നു. ഹാങ്ഷുവിലെ തന്റെ അപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്‍റിലിരുന്നായിരുന്നു അലിബാബയുടെ ആദ്യകാല പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ മാ നിയന്ത്രിച്ചിരുന്നത്. വസ്തുക്കൾ വിൽക്കാനും വാങ്ങാനും ഓൺലൈൻ അനന്ത സാധ്യത ഒരുക്കുന്നതായുള്ള തിരിച്ചറിവായിരുന്നു ഇത്തരമൊരു സംരംഭത്തിലേക്ക് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നയിച്ചത്. ചൈനയിലെ ആയോധനകലയായ തായ് ചിയുടെ ആരാധകനായ മാ ജീവനക്കാർക്കിടയിലും ഉപയോക്താക്കൾക്കിടയിലും ഏ

सोमवार को वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण के अध्यक्षता में GST काउंसिल की अहम बैठक का आयोजन किया गया.. इस बैठक में मुख्य रूप से दो मुद्दों पर चर्चा होनी थीं…. हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस पर जीएसटी की दरें कम करने, और 2000 रुपये से कम के ऑनलाइन (डेबिट और क्रेडिट कार्ड से) ट्रांजेक्शन पर 18% जीएसटी लगाने का मामला था…. फिलहाल इंश्योरेंस प्रीमियम सस्ता होने नहीं जा रहा है, क्योंकि इस मसले पर अंतिम फैसला अगली बैठक तक के लिए टाल दिया गया है…
