Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.

According to a report there is a huge misconception with the sentiment in the candidate market, that a salary increase would improve performance and boost job satisfaction, and 20 lakh-22 lakh employees are expected to leave their jobs by 2025.
As per the experts from TeamLease Digital say, The Indian IT sector has witnessed tremendous growth in the last decade. It has recorded 15.5 percent growth, which is the fastest in more than a decade and touched $227 billion, creating additional 5.5 lakh jobs in FY22 alone.
There is evidence of a reverse trend which indicates that retaining a business-critical talent has undergone a great change in the last two years. With the usual demand for salary hikes and other benefits, the main attraction for employees in their new jobs is ‘Great Reflection’ on the internal policies and external factors that should be relooked at by employers as we are viewing great changes in the employees’ feelings about work and life, says the expert.
While employees’ needs and priorities have changed, such as the desire for flexibility, career growth, and employee value proposition, they are re-evaluating their careers based on these aspects and quitting their well-cushioned jobs in the mid-way. The alarming figures reveal that the flexible structure has heightened the choice.
The report said, “Organisations’ strategic hiring plans must contain goals towards their employees and their betterment. This ultimately translates into soul searching over whether an employee feels valued in his/her work or merely creates outcomes and value to benefit others.”
New age firms ramping up their workforce was the chief cause of attrition in the IT services sector in 2021. Nearly 50 per cent of respondents believe that 'lack of better compensation and benefits' is the greatest reason for talent exodus, whereas 25 percent believe lack of career growth to be the reason.

A recent study by Nasscom shows that the Indian IT companies made a massive contribution to the US economy last year through employment, investment, strategic partnerships, and business deals.
The Indian IT companies, alongside its customers, have generated $396 billion in US sales, supporting a total of 1.6 million jobs and contributing over $198 billion to the US economy. It also spent about $1.1 billion to grow STEM learning in the US and developed partnerships with nearly 180 institutions in the US.
Nearly 40-78% of the revenues of Indian IT companies come from the US. Of which, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL Technologies and Tech Mahindra have more than 50% exposure. Indian IT accounts for about 55% of the global IT services industry market share.
A report released by HDFC Securities in June 2022 reveals that India-headquartered IT services firms like TCS, Tech Mahindra and HCL have doubled their revenue market share from 13.9% in 2011 to 28% in 2021. Interestingly, market share of firms with foreign headquarters like Accenture, Capgemini and Cognizant have dropped from 86% to 72% in the same time.
In 2022, the Indian IT industry crossed the $200 billion mark in revenues to touch $227 billion, an impressive record according to Nasscom. Indian companies also invested $1.1. billion while partnering with more than 180 colleges and universities building a more robust pipeline for STEM courses.

Fraudsters create a third-party phishing website which looks like an existing genuine website, such as - a bank’s website or an e-commerce website or a search engine, etc. Links to these websites are circulated by fraudsters through Short Message Service (SMS) / social media / email / Instant Messenger, etc.
Many customers click on the link without checking the detailed Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and enter secure credentials such as Personal Identification Number (PIN), One Time Password (OTP), Password, etc., which are captured and used by the fraudsters.
Recently, Lloyds, Santander, Barclays, TSB demand Google, Facebook reimburse online fraud victims. While banks have signed up for a voluntary code to reimburse fraud victims who do enough to protect themselves, there is not sufficient regulation governing social media and other websites where victims are often first lured in.
Big tech companies whose online platforms carry advertisements for scams should be made to reimburse victims, British lawmakers said, as part of wider efforts to combat a growing epidemic of online fraud in Britain.
Citing the ‘polluter pays’ principle, a widely recognised concept where those that generate pollution should cover the cost of controlling the risk and the human impact, TSB, Barclays, Santander, and Lloyds have called out Facebook, Instagram, Google, and telecom organisations for not paying anything towards losses.
Experts pointed out that “partial or total” compensation from technology firms was long overdue. Authorised fraud doesn’t start and end with banks, other sectors play a role in facilitating it. The steps some tech giants have taken to help prevent scams are welcome, but they also need to help with the cost.
Social media brands like Facebook and Instagram, alongside Google, and telecom companies, do not currently pay any compensation to victims of fraud. The report says that research from Barclays found that over

India popular for developing disruptive technologies
The Indian tech industry always comes with resilience, agility and innovation – and a latest survey from KPMG says, around twice as many global technology company leaders believe that hubs are still important in driving technology innovation as opposed to those who believe they are not and ranking the country third among jurisdictions that show the most promise for developing disruptive global technologies. KPMG ranked Bengaluru at eighth position among the top 10 cities. More than 800 industry leaders were surveyed for the report which said 39 per cent believe global 'hub' cities such as London, Singapore, and Tel Aviv will continue to play a vital role, enabling talent to coalesce and collaborate in communities with a solid digital infrastructure.
The report found that while Covid-19 has rapidly accelerated new ways of working, most of the employers know this and are striving towards flexible work arrangements including permanent hybrid workforce models. As the workforce disperses geographically, new hotbeds of technically skilled workers will emerge. The world's 'technology hubs' are here to stay although they may not be in Silicon Valley. It presents a great opportunity for India – bolstered further by the urbanisation and younger demographic trends of the country as well as the massive jump in venture capital that India has seen in the last three years. The internet and digital technology are the new superhighways of trade. Tech leaders believe the industry's future success will rely on a balance between physical workspace and greater flexibility. At the same time, engineering talent and intellectual property are the lifeblood of the tech industry and retaining top talent is a strategic imperative.

There is an urgent need of the professionals to create the Multi-Cloud Strategy. Multi-cloud is the practice of using more than one cloud platform in your cloud approach. Whereas the heterogeneous cloud, on the other hand, could mean three public clouds from three vendors. A report says, No single cloud provider has the best services for everything, so it is smart to tailor the best service for your situation. You might even have one process in your workflow that requires a dedicated cloud service. A multi-cloud strategy can be more complex to run compared to the traditional single-cloud approach. The entire process is highly dependent on good planning.
With the proper implementation of the multi-cloud strategy, an enterprise can adopt a mixture of Infrastructure As A Service services from multiple cloud providers and sharing workloads among each of these services which are reliable, secure, flexible, and of course cost-effective. A report states, transformation of enterprises are increasing towards multi-cloud environments. Businesses struggling with legacy IT systems, hardware suppliers, and on-premise structures can benefit from adopting multi-cloud infrastructures to improve agility as well as workload mobility amongst heterogeneous cloud platforms. At the same time, a multi-cloud user can mitigate the risk by switching to another service provider or back up or to a private cloud, immediately.
