पुलवामा में हुए आतंकी हमले के बाद से भारत और पाकिस्तान के रिश्तों में तनाव बना हुआ है। भारत में लगातार इस हमले का मुंहतोड़ जवाब देने की मांग उठ रही थी। इसी बीच आज सुबह भारतीय वायुसेना ने नियंत्रण रेखा (एलओसी) पारकर आतंकी कैंप को ध्वस्त कर दिया है। सूत्रों के हवाले से बताया गया है कि वायुसेना के विमान ने आतंकी कैंप पर एक हजार किलोग्राम के बम गिराए। जिसमें आतंकी कैंप पूरी तरह से ध्वस्त हो गया। समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई ने भारतीय वायुसेना के सूत्रों के हवाले से कहा, '26 फरवरी की तड़के भारतीय लड़ाकू विमान मिराज 2000 के एक समूह ने एसओसी पारकर पाकिस्तान अधिकृत कश्मीर में आतंकी कैंप पर बमबारी की और उसे पूरी तरह से नष्ट कर दिया। आतंकी कैंप पर 1000 किलो बम गिराए गए। इस अभियान में 12 मिराज विमानों ने हिस्सा लिया।'

India's operation comes two week after the terror attack in Pulwama in which over 40 soldiers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed when a suicide bomber of the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed exploded a car full of bombs next to a security convoy.

The Jaish-e-Mohammed had claimed responsibility for the February 14 attack and had also posted videos of the bomber, who had joined the terror group a year ago.

On September 29, 2016, the army had carried out surgical strikes on seven terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) in retaliation to an attack on its base in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri earlier that month.
