Panneerselvam read out the features of the party's election manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

    in parts of Tamil Nadu despite a Supreme Court ban. The Naam Tamilar party workers were detained for holding the game in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu.

    SC has already ruled twice (in May 2014 and January 2016)
    against Jallikattu.
