पिछले काफी समय से ट्रांसफर ना किए जाने और ट्रांसफर पॉलिसी को लागू करने की मांग को लेकर शनिवार को जिले के शिक्षकों का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा। गुस्साए शिक्षकों ने जम्मू कश्मीर लद्दाख टीचर फैडरेशन के बैनर तले संगठन के राज्य उपप्रधान दर्शन कुमार की अगुवाई में चीफ एजुकेशन अधिकारी पुंछ विजय भगत का घेराव किया और उनके दफ्तर में ही धरने पर बैठ गए। इस दौरान शिक्षकों ने जमकर नारेबाजी की और अधिकारी पर काम ना करने के आरोप जड़े। बाद में अधिकारी द्वारा उनकी मांगों को पूरा करने का आश्वासन दिया गया तब जाकर शिक्षक शांत हुए।
