સમગ્ર વિશ્વમાં એશિયાટિક સિંહો માત્ર સાસણ ગીરના જંગલોમાં જોવા મળે છે પરંતુ છેલ્લા કેટલાક સમયથી ડાલામથ્થા સિંહો પર આફત આવી પડી છે. સપ્ટેમ્બર મહિનામાં એક પછી એક એમ કુલ 23 સિંહોના મોત બાદ પ્રાણીવિદ્દોમાં રોષ ભભૂકી ઉઠ્યો હતો. આ ઉપરાંત ગીરના જંગલોમાં થઈ રહેલા સિંહોના ગેરકાયદેસર શો મામલે પણ અનેક સવાલો રાજ્ય સરકાર અને રાજ્યના વન વિભાગ સામે ઊભા થયા હતા. આટલું ઓછું હોય એમ ડિસેમ્બર મહિનામાં વનરાજો ગામોમાં ઘૂસી જઈને હિંસક બની ગયા હતા. આવા જ સિંહોના ધાડેધાડાં ગીર સોમનાથ તેમ જ અમરેલીના માર્ગો પર લટાર મારતા જોવા મળી રહ્યા છે, તેના કારણે લોકોમાં ભારે ફફડાટ ફેલાયો છે.
સાસણગીરમાં સિંહ પરિવાર રોડ પર લટાર મારતો હોવાનો વીડિયો વાયરલ થયો છે, જેમાં ત્રણ સિંહણ પાંચ સિંહબાળ સાથે રોડ પર લટાર મારતી જોવા મળી હતી. આ પ્રકારે સિંહ પરિવારને રોડ પર જોઈ વાહનો થંભી ગયા હતા. મુસાફરોએ સિંહ પરિવારને પોતાના મોબાઈલમાં કેદ કર્યા હતા. વીડિયો સાસણના દેવળીયાના હોવાનું અનુમાન સેવાઈ રહ્યું છે.
બીજી બાજુ અમરેલી જિલ્લામાં રાજુલાના રામપરા ભેરાઈ રોડ પર એક સાથે 14 સિંહ રોડ પર આવી જતા વાહન ચાલકોમાં અફરાતફરી મચી જવા પામી હતી. સિંહોએ એક સાથે રોડ ક્રોસ કરતા મુસાફરોએ સિંહ દર્શન કર્યા હતા. થોડા સમય માટે રસ્તો બંધ થઈ જવા પામ્યો હતો. બેરાઈના ખારા વિસ્તારમાં આજે સવારે 14 સિંહોનું ટોળું એકઠું થયું હતું.
આ ઉપરાંત અમરેલીમાં બે સાવજોએ દર્શન આપ્યા હતા. મહત્ત્વનું છે કે, મોટાભાગે સિંહો રાત્રીના સમયે દેખાતા હોય છે. ત્યારે રાજુલામાં વહેલી સવારે બે સિંહો જાણે રાત્રીનો આરામ કરીને નિદ્રામાંથી ઉઠ્યા હોય તેવા દૃશ્યો કેમેરામાં કેદ થયા હતા.
અત્રે નોંધનીય છે કે, આ પ્રકારે સિંહો માર્ગો પર આવી જતા વન વિભાગ પણ હરકતમાં આવી ગયું હતું અને તાત્કાલિક સિંહોને કોઈ નુકશાન ન થાય તે માટે વન રક્ષકોની ફોજ પણ જે તે વિસ્તારમાં પહોંચી ગઈ હતી. ત્યારે સવાલ એ ઉઠે છે કે, ગીરના જંગલોમાં જે રીતે હોટેલો અને રિસોર્ટ ઊભા થઈ રહ્યા છે તેના કારણે જંગલનો વિસ્તાર ઓછો થવા માંડતા સિંહો ગામોમાં અને માર્ગો પર આવવા માંડ્યા છે ત્યારે રાજ્ય સરકાર અને વન વિભાગ કેવાં પગલાં લે છે તે મહત્ત્વનું બની ગયું છે.

વિશ્વમાં માત્ર ગીરના જંગલોમાં એશિયાટિક સિંહો જોવા મળે છે પરંતુ છેલ્લા કેટલાક સમયથી વનરાજોની માઠી દશા બેઠી હોય એવું લાગી રહ્યું છે. આ સંજોગોમાં રાજ્ય સરકારે મંગળવારે મુખ્યમંત્રી વિજય રૂપાણીની અધ્યક્ષતામાં યોજાયેલી સ્ટેટ બોર્ડ ફોર વાઈલ્ડ લાઈફની 14મી બેઠકમાં ગીરના જંગલોમાં રાત્રિના સમયે ડ્રોન કેમેરા દ્વારા વન્ય જીવો ઉપર નજર રાખવામાં આવશે. જેના કારણે જંગલોમાં થતા ગેરકાયદેસર સિંહ દર્શન ઉપર બ્રેક વાગી જશે તેમ જ રાત્રિના સમયે જંગલમાં થતી અન્ય ગેરકાયદે પ્રવૃત્તિ પર પણ નજર રાખી શકાશે.
આ નિર્ણય સંદર્ભે બુધવારે ગીરના જંગલમાં આવેલાં દેવળિયા ખાતે વન વિભાગના ઉચ્ચ અધિકારીઓની હાજરીમાં ડ્રોન દ્વારા જંગલ ઉપર નજર રાખવાની પ્રક્રિયાનું એક નિદર્શન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. જેમાં ગીરના જંગલના વિવિધ વિસ્તારોમાં ડ્રોન ફર્યું હતું અને તેનું સીધું નીરિક્ષણ CCTV મારફતે સર્વેલન્સ રૂમમાં જોવા મળ્યું હતું.
અત્રે આપને જણાવી દઈએ કે, ગીરના જંગલોમાં ડ્રોન સર્વેલન્સ તેમજ CCTV નેટવર્ક દ્વારા સિંહ સહિતના વન્યપશુઓની રાત્રિ મૂવમેન્ટ-ગતિવિધિઓ પર સતત નજર રાખવા માટે પણ રાજ્ય સરકારે સઘન આયોજન કર્યું છે. આ સંદર્ભમાં તેમણે ગીરમાં પણ કોરબેટ નેશનલ પાર્કની પેટ્રન પર E-Eye પ્રોજેકટ અન્વયે રાત્રિના સમયે પણ રાની પ્રાણી-પશુઓની ગતિવિધિ પર નજર રાખવા હેતુ સેન્સીટીવ કેમેરા ગોઠવવા વન વિભાગને સૂચનાઓ આપવામાં આવી છે. જેના ભાગરૂપે આ કાર્યવાહીનું નિદર્શન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.
અત્રે નોંધનીય છે કે, છેલ્લાં કેટલાક સમયથી ગીરના જંગલમાં એક પછી એક એમ 23 સિંહોના થયેલાં મોત બાદ રાજ્ય સરકાર અને વન વિભાગની કામગીરી પર અનેક સવાલો ઉઠ્યા હતાં. તેમ જ ગીરના જંગલોમાં રાત્રિના સમયે સાવજોના ગેરકાયદેસર શો પણ યોજાતા હોવાનું બહાર આવ્યું હતું. જેના પગલે રાજ્ય સરકાર અને વન વિભાગ દ્વારા પોતાની છબિ સુધારવા માટે ડ્રોન સર્વેલન્સ દ્વારા નજર રાખવાની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી છે.

સાસણ-ગીરમાં એશિયાટીક સિંહોને હેરાન કરવામાં આવતા હોવાના વીડિયો અવારનવાર સામે આવતા હોય છે. ત્યારે સિંહની પજવણીનો વધુ એક વીડિયો સામે આવ્યો છે. આ વીડિયો ધારી નજીક આંબરડી રોડનો છે, જ્યાં એક કાર ચાલકે સિંહને નજીકથી નિહાળવા માટે કાર રિવર્સમાં ચલાવી હતી તેમજ કાર ચાલક સિંહને દોડાવી રહ્યો છે. સિંહ દર્શનની આ રીતે વિકૃત મઝા માણવાનો વીડિયો સામે આવ્યા બાદ ફરી એકવાર સાસણમાં સિંહોની સલામતી સામે સવાલ ઊઠી રહ્યા છે.
આ અંગે મળતી વિગતો અનુસાર અમરેલી જિલ્લાના ધારીમાં એક સાવજ રસ્તા ઉપરથી પસાર થઈ રહ્યો હતો ત્યારે એક કાર ચાલકે આ સિંહને જોતાં તેમાં બેઠેલાં લોકોએ તેને નજીકથી નિહાળવા માટે ગાડી ઊભી રાખી હતી. ત્યારબાદ સિંહ નજીક આવ્યો અને પસાર થયો તો આ ગાડી ચાલકે પોતાની ગાડી રિવર્સમાં લઈને સિંહને દોડાવ્યો હતો અને સાથે મોબાઈલ પર વીડિયો રેકોર્ડિંગ પણ કરતા હતા. આ પ્રકારે સિંહની પજવણી કરીને તેને દોડાવવાના મામલાનો વીડિયો સોશિયલ મીડિયામાં વાઈરલ થતાં વન વિભાગ પણ ચોંકી ઉઠ્યું હતું.
આ મામલે જ્યારે સિંહ પ્રેમી અને વાઈલ્ડ લાઈફના નિષ્ણાત મનીષ વૈદ્યને પૂછવામાં આવ્યું ત્યારે તેમણે Khabarchhe.com ને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, વન વિભાગની નિષ્ક્રિયતાના કારણે લોકો સિંહોને જોવા માટે આ પ્રકારના નુસ્ખા અપનાવતાં હોય છે. વન્યજીવને ખોટી રીતે હેરાન પરેશાન કરતાં લોકો સામે કાયદાની જોગવાઈ હોવા છતાં પણ વન વિભાગ દ્વારા કોઈ પગલાં આજદિન સુધી લેવાયા નથી તેના કારણે આવા લોકોની હિંમત વધતી જાય છે. તેમણે માગણી કરી હતી કે, આ પ્રકારે સિંહો કે અન્ય વન્ય જીવોને પરેશાન કરતાં લોકો સામે રાજ્ય સરકાર અને વનવિભાગે કડકહાથે કામગીરી કરવી જોઈએ

છેલ્લા કેટલાક સમયથી ગીરના જંગલોના સિંહ સમગ્ર દેશમાં ચર્ચાનો વિષય બન્યા છે. ત્યારે આજે ફરી એકવાર સિંહણનો એક વીડિયો વાયરલ થતા ભારે ચકચાર મચી જવા પામી છે. પરંતુ આ વખતે ગેરકાયદેસર લાયન શો માટેનો વીડિયો નથી, પણ સિંહણે એક બળદનું મારણ કર્યું તેનો લાઈવ વીડિયો વાયરલ થયો છે.
ધારીના આંબરડી નજીક એક સિંહણે બળદનો શિકાર કર્યાનો એક વીડિયો સામે આવ્યો છે. મળતી માહિતી પ્રમાણે આંબરડી પૂલ પાસે વહેલી સવારે એક સિંહણ આવી ચડી હતી.

ગીરમાં 23 સિંહોના મોત બાદ રાજ્યમાં સત્તાધારી પક્ષ અને વિરોધ પક્ષ સામ સામે આવી ગયા. ગીરના સિંહો મામલે રાજ્યમાં ખુબ રાજકારણ ગરમાયું અને સત્તાધારી પક્ષ ભાજપે સિંહોને બચાવવા માટે ખુબ મોટા વાયદાઓ કર્યો હતો, પરંતુ શું હાલ એક વીડિયો સોશિયલ મીડિયામાં વાયરલ થઇ રહ્યો છે, તેને જોતા સરકારના વાયદાઓ પોકળ સાબિત થઇ રહ્યા છે.
બે મહિના પહેલા પણ એક ગેરકાયદેસર સિંહોને મારણ બતાવી લલચાવતો વીડિયો વાયરલ થયો હતો. જેમાં વન વિભાગે ભારે હોબાળો બાદ 7 લોકોની ધરપકડ કરી હતી. આવો એક વીડિયો હાલ વાયરલ થયો છે, જેમાં એક વ્યક્તિ ખુરશ પર બેસી સિંહણને મારણ બતાવી ગેરકાયદેસર લાયન શો કરી તેનો વીડિયો બનાવી રહ્યો છે, જે વીડિયો હાલ સોશિયલ મીડિયામાં વાયરલ થઇ રહ્યો છે.
વાયરલ થયેલા વીડિયોમાં એક વ્યક્તિ ખુરશી પર બેસી સિંહણને કૂતરાની માફક લાળ પડાવી મરધીનું મારણ બતાવી વીડિયો બનાવે છે. આ અંગે વન વિભાગનું ધ્યાન દોરતા આ ઘટના વિશે તપાસના આદેશ આપ્યા છે, તેવું હાલ જાણવા મળી રહ્યું છે.
