गरीब और कम पढ़ी लिखी महिलाओं व लड़कियों में महिला संबंधी समस्याएं बढ़ने के चलते इंडियन रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी इन दिनों तेजी से लोगों को जागरूक करने और साफ सफाई के साथ महिलाओं की समस्याओं को दूर करने के लिए कार्यक्रम चला रही है। यूपी के 4 जिलों में इन दिनों बड़े पैमाने पर महिलाओं को मुफ्त हाइजेनिक किट देकर महिला संबंधी परेशानियों से निजात दिलाने की कोशिश की जा रही है। इसी क्रम में गुरुवार को इस्लामिक सेंटर ऑफ इंडिया में महिलाओं को मुफ्त के और जागरूक करने का काम किया गया।
कोरोना काल में मुस्लिम समुदाय को जागरूक करने और सरकार की गाइड लाइन पर अमल कराने में अहम योगदान देने वाले मुस्लिम धर्मगुरु मौलाना खालिद रशीद फिरंगी महली की मदद से रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी ने मुस्लिम महिलाओं को स्वच्छता और महिला संबंधी समस्याओं को लेकर गुरुवार को जागरूक किया। इस दौरान रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी की महासचिव डॉ हीमा बिंदु नायक समेत कई डॉक्टर कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए और महिलाओं को उनकी समस्याओं से निपटने के साथ सैनिटरी पैड के इस्तेमाल को लेकर भी जागरूक किया गया।
