बेटियों ने भले ही तरक्की कर आसमान छू लिए हो और भले ही समाज में बेटियों को बेटो के बराबर का दर्जा दिया जाता हो ,लेकिन कुछ दकियानूसी सोच और घिनोनी मानसिकता के लोग आज भी हमारे समाज में हमारे ही बिच रह रहे है। ऐसे ही एक दकियानूसी सोच और घिनोनी मानसिकता के परिवार का चेहरा सामने आया है। घटना फरीदाबाद के बसेलवा कलोनी की है जहाँ एक महिला को उसी के ससुराल वालों ने बेटा पैदा नहीं करने की कड़ी सजा दी और आरोपियों ने महिला को घर में बंद कर लाठी ,डंडे ,और बेल्टों से तीन घंटे तक बुरी तरह पीटा जिससे महिला के शरीर पर गहरी चोटें आई है। बता दें की महिला को दो बेटियां है और तीन ऑपरेशन हो चुके है डॉकटरों ने महिला को अब बच्चे का रिस्क लेने के लिए मना किया हुआ है और अभी 5 महीने पहले ही पीड़िता ने दूसरी बेटी को जन्म दिया है। फिलहाल पीड़ित महिला को इलाज के लिए सिविल अस्पताल में भर्ती करवाया गया है।
