এক মহিলার স্বামী মারা গেল অনেকদিন। সংসারে অভাব অনটন ঠিকমত বাচ্ছার মুখের খাবার তুলে দিতে পারে না। তাই সে বিভিন্ন জনের কাছে যায় সাহায্য কিংবা কাজের জন্য। কেউ তাকে সাহায্য করে না। তার দিকে খারাপ নজরে তাকায়। কিছুদিন পর একজনের বাড়িতে কাজ নিলে বাসার মালিক তাকে জোর করেেইজ্জত নেয়। যার ফলে বিধবার পেটে বাচ্ছা চলে আসে.. এখন
