अंतिम चरण में होने वाले लोकसभा चुनाव में भाजपा ने अपनी ताकत झोंक दी है वहीं उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के कई मंत्रियों को जिले का प्रभारी बनाकर भेजा गया है और वह अपने अपने प्रभार क्षेत्रों में प्रत्याशियों को जिताने में जुट गए हैं . इसी के तहत मिर्जापुर के लोकसभा क्षेत्र में उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के कारागार एवं लोक प्रबंधन राज्य मंत्री जय कुमार सिंह पटेल उर्फ जैकी ने अपना दल एस व भाजपा की संयुक्त प्रत्याशी स्वास्थ्य कल्याण राज्यमंत्री अनुप्रिया पटेल के पक्ष में प्रचार किया और प्रचार के दौरान अपेक्स हॉस्पिटल के गेस्ट हाउस में प्रेस वार्ता करते हुए कहा कि मिर्जापुर में अंतिम चरण में चुनाव है यह चुनाव देश में मोदी जी को पुनः प्रधानमंत्री बनाने के लिए हो रहा है
