Okta, a major identity and access management company, experienced a security breach in its customer support system in October 2023. The breach allowed an unauthorized third party to access sensitive customer data, including support tickets and case files.


The #Oktabreach occurred on October 2, 2023, and was discovered by Okta on October 20, 2023. The company notified affected customers on October 21, 2023. The attacker was able to access customer support tickets and case files for a period of five days. However, Okta has not disclosed the number of customers affected by the breach.
