यूपी के कौशांबी जिले में बेखौफ पशु तस्करो को अब जरा भी खाकी वर्दी का खौफ नही रहा है ,जी हाँ... पशु क्रूरता की सभी हदे पार करने वाला एक बड़ा मामला जिले के कोखराज थाना क्षेत्र में सामने आया है , जहाँ मूरतगंज मेला बाग में खड़े एक कन्ट्रेनर ट्रक में लगभग 40 अदद मरे हुए भैंस व 7 अदद जिंदा बरामद होने के बाद पुलिस महकमे में हड़कंप मच गया । सूचना के बाद मौके पर पहुंची कोखराज थाने की पुलिस ने कन्ट्रेनर ट्रक को अपने कब्जे में ले लिया , और पशु चिकित्सक को बुलाकर मरे हुए भैंसों का पोस्टमार्टम कराने के बाद पुलिस ने जेसीबी मशीन से गड्ढा खुदवा कर मृत मवेशियों को जमीन में दफन करवा दिया ।वही
पोस्टमार्टम करने वाले पशु चिकित्सक डॉक्टर रवींद्र कुमार सिंह के मुताबिक कन्ट्रेनर ट्रक में मवेशी ठूंस ठूंस कर लादे जाने के कारण दम घुटने से इनकी मौत हुई है । बड़ी तादाद में मृत मवेशी की खबर मिलने के बाद जिले के डीएम मनीष कुमार वर्मा व एसपी प्रदीप गुप्ता ने मौके पर पहुंच कर जायजा लिया हो...और मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए तस्करो को चिन्हित कर उनके विरुद्ध कार्यवाई किये जाने का फरमान सुनाया।
लेकिन बेजुबान मवेशियों के साथ क्रूरता का यह कोई पहला मामला नही है । हाल ही में कौशांबी दौरे पर आए योगी सरकार में कैबिनेट मंत्री व जिले के प्रभारी मंत्री लक्ष्मी नारायण चौधरी ने विहिप नेताओ की शिकायत के बाद खुली बैठक मे ही जिम्मेदार अफसरों को तस्करो के विरुद्ध कार्यवाई किये जाने का सख्त फरमान सुनाया था । इतना ही नही खुद प्रभारी मंत्री ने मीडिया से मुखातिब होते हुए कोखराज पुलिस की भूमिका पर संदेह भी जाहिर किया था और डीएम एसपी को दोषी पुलिस कर्मियों के विरुद्ध कार्यवाही किये जाने का आदेश दिया था , लेकिन विभागीय उदासीनता के चलते न तो तस्करो पर लगाम लगाया जा सका...और न ही दोषी पुलिस कर्मियों के विरुद्ध कोई कार्यवाई हो सकी । हालांकि तस्करो की क्रूरता के चलते बड़ी तादात में मवेशी मरने की खबर मीडिया में आने के बाद अब एसपी प्रदीप गुप्ता तस्करो की जल्द से जल्द गिरफ्तारी कराए जाने का दावा कर रहे है ।

यूपी के कौशांबी जिले में बेखौफ पशु तस्करो को अब जरा भी खाकी वर्दी का खौफ नही रहा है ,जी हाँ... पशु क्रूरता की सभी हदे पार करने वाला एक बड़ा मामला जिले के कोखराज थाना क्षेत्र में सामने आया है , जहाँ मूरतगंज मेला बाग में खड़े एक कन्ट्रेनर ट्रक में लगभग 40 अदद मरे हुए भैंस व 7 अदद जिंदा बरामद होने के बाद पुलिस महकमे में हड़कंप मच गया । सूचना के बाद मौके पर पहुंची कोखराज थाने की पुलिस ने कन्ट्रेनर ट्रक को अपने कब्जे में ले लिया , और पशु चिकित्सक को बुलाकर मरे हुए भैंसों का पोस्टमार्टम कराने के बाद पुलिस ने जेसीबी मशीन से गड्ढा खुदवा कर मृत मवेशियों को जमीन में दफन करवा दिया ।वही
पोस्टमार्टम करने वाले पशु चिकित्सक डॉक्टर रवींद्र कुमार सिंह के मुताबिक कन्ट्रेनर ट्रक में मवेशी ठूंस ठूंस कर लादे जाने के कारण दम घुटने से इनकी मौत हुई है । बड़ी तादाद में मृत मवेशी की खबर मिलने के बाद जिले के डीएम मनीष कुमार वर्मा व एसपी प्रदीप गुप्ता ने मौके पर पहुंच कर जायजा लिया हो...और मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए तस्करो को चिन्हित कर उनके विरुद्ध कार्यवाई किये जाने का फरमान सुनाया।
लेकिन बेजुबान मवेशियों के साथ क्रूरता का यह कोई पहला मामला नही है । हाल ही में कौशांबी दौरे पर आए योगी सरकार में कैबिनेट मंत्री व जिले के प्रभारी मंत्री लक्ष्मी नारायण चौधरी ने विहिप नेताओ की शिकायत के बाद खुली बैठक मे ही जिम्मेदार अफसरों को तस्करो के विरुद्ध कार्यवाई किये जाने का सख्त फरमान सुनाया था । इतना ही नही खुद प्रभारी मंत्री ने मीडिया से मुखातिब होते हुए कोखराज पुलिस की भूमिका पर संदेह भी जाहिर किया था और डीएम एसपी को दोषी पुलिस कर्मियों के विरुद्ध कार्यवाही किये जाने का आदेश दिया था , लेकिन विभागीय उदासीनता के चलते न तो तस्करो पर लगाम लगाया जा सका...और न ही दोषी पुलिस कर्मियों के विरुद्ध कोई कार्यवाई हो सकी । हालांकि तस्करो की क्रूरता के चलते बड़ी तादात में मवेशी मरने की खबर मीडिया में आने के बाद अब एसपी प्रदीप गुप्ता तस्करो की जल्द से जल्द गिरफ्तारी कराए जाने का दावा कर रहे है ।
